"I still can't believe you were able to tame Boongi that easily," commends Minhyun, as he adjusts the strings of his seul.
Jimin blushed, while he fiddled the strings of his dangjok with his fingers.
"Just got lucky this one time with Boongi, I guess," he replied, to deflate any suspicion his friends may have right now with him.
"Even so, that was incredible for you to be able to do that aside from the King himself," butts Jackson as he too, adjusts some strings on his kayagum, "The last time he did just that, was during the war with the Kai and his six witches. I remembered them siding with the orange witch like they were its master and not the King. It was cool though,"
They were, as Jimin would like to call it, backstage, while Sera and Balam were already with the others watching other performers perform their piece in front of the King.
Jimin almost choke with what Jackson had told him. So Jackson was one of those villagers who were there to witness his magic. Although he can't remember seeing him there, which was a good thing. Otherwise he wouldn't have come with them if he knew they were, but it's too late for that now and he just hopes none would figure it was him who that which was. Not that he remember doing something bad to them.
"You sure you're still going to wear that, hyung? You don't want the king to see your beauty?" Jae was referring to the half-face mask that was sitting on the top side of his head. He nods.
"It's part of our performance. Besides, It's not like I want him to focus on my face,"
"Yeah, you're right. We don't want the King to act like how Boongi was with you earlier. We aren't ready to see you get married so soon." Jackson teases, earning giggles from Minhyun and Jae and a deep blush from Jimin.
"Hey! Stop with that nonsense! We might get beheaded if someone from the Palace hears you. Besides, I'm pretty sure he is into women only. He has a son, has he not?"
"Well, it's not like the King can't change his mind the moment he sees you."
Meanwhile, while everyone was enjoying the show the performers had put on for everyone, with some of them, trying to woo the King, to hopefully make Yoongi fall in love with them, Yoongi turns to Taehyung who was sitting next to Jin on his left side.
"So where did you find Boongi?" he asks, while the blob sits on his lap, squinting its eyes, trying to look for Jimin amidst the big crowd.
"I saw them near the market along with some kids and performers for tonight. They were... uhm... dancing with them."
"Dancing?" Jin and Yoongi asks in unison.
Of course, they'll be surprised. Everyone knew how aloof the blob was to everyone. Children are no exception. Well, except if there's an emergency that requires its help just like from the previous battle.
"Yes. Dancing."
"With the kids?" Yoongi warily looks at Taehyung and the young witch sighed. He can't keep this information a secret to the King, can he not? But nah, he doesn't want to face the consequences, especially if the king we are talking about was Yoongi himself.
"Yes and some performers, althought there's this particular performer that he seemed to be fond of."
"Will that performer be joining us tonight?"
He nods, "Yes, but I'm not sure how soon they will be performing."
"Good. I want to see that performer who Boongi had spent their time with."
And as if the blob knew who Yoongi and Taehyung was talking about, Boongi turned themselves to Yoongi and gave them their biggest and cute doe eyes they ever had given him.
