"And where do you think you're going Min Jungkook?" asks Jin with both hands on the side of his hips, one brow raised and suspiciously eyeing his niece with Taehyung beside him.

"O-Out,"

"Out? Don't you have studies today with Namjoon-ssi?"

"Oh, uh, I forgot? Thanks for reminding me Jin-samchon." Jungkook immediately bowed to Jin and ran in the opposite direction of where he was originally planning to go with the scroll between his arms.

He sighed. At least they didn't notice what he was holding.

To be honest, he felt like a thief right now— an accomplished one, by successfully getting the lists of performers that had performed at the celebration of the Harvest Season.

In reality, he could have just asked anyone he's close with to get the list for him but he knew they will get suspicious, especially his Father. As he had never ask anything like this before. Yoongi might mistaken his request of him finally finding someone he is interested in when in reality, he already found one and it had been a while now since he realised he liked that person and that was no other than Taehyung. He sighed.

"What's with you today, Kook? You seem kind of strange," says Namjoon, who was continuesly writing on the scroll he's working on without looking at the younger. But he knew, he knew something was off with his godchild/student. Especially when Jin asked him to check up on Jungkook when they met earlier at the Palace's hallway.

"Strange? Me? I think I'm okay just like every day, hyung. Why?" he replied, puzzled.

"Are you sure?" this time Namjoon looks at Jungkook and stared at him. The young tried his hardest not to do anything funny or his hyung would tell Yoongi about it and he wasn't ready yet to get another lecturing from him.

"Yes, hyung." he nods. Namjoon sighed and rubbed his temple. The action made the younger a little worried.

"You okay, hyung?"

"Yes. Yes, I am. Now why don't you take a break today and rest? Or do whatever you want to do? Sounds good?"

Jungkook blinks. He was surprised by Namjoon's offer but then again, this is also kind of not surprising since he is Namjoon's favorite student besides the fact he's his godfather. Besides he wasn't called by Namjoon and the other scholars' golden maknae for nothing. One day of rest from studying wouldn't hurt, right?

Plus, wouldn't that also be a great time for him to find the witch and meet him?

"Uh sure?" he tried not to act excited about it otherwise Namjoon might change his mind and that's the last thing he wants to happen. His impatient ass could no longer skip a day not being able to interact with Jimin.

"And Jungkook—"

"Yes, hyung?" he turned around, hugging the scroll from earlier he had bought with him instead of leaving it in his bed chamber.

"What's with the scroll? Aren't you supposed to leave that here?"

He gulped. Uh-oh.

What's he supposed to reply to that, that wouldn't spike Namjoon's suspicious ass?

"This is a scroll for leisure, hyung, and not for studying. Leaving my sketches here won't be a good idea, hyung. Trust me."

Namjoon nods and finally lets Jungkook go.

A few minutes later, Hoseok came into the study room. He cleared his throat to announce his arrival to Namjoon who seemed immersed to whatever he was doing.

"Ah, hyung," he greets.

"Well, guess what?"

"Aish!"
