"Morning sleepy head." Dad slid a coffee across the island.

I grabbed it and took a sip from it, feeling it warm my body, I smiled. I sat at the island, expecting Jay to be sat next to me.

I wish I'd stop thinking about him.

Dad put a hand around my shoulders as if he knew what I was thinking. I gave him a weak smile.

"I like your hair. Makes you look more like a Stark." He twisted a strand of my black hair in his finger.

I chuckled. "Thanks."

We drank our coffees as mom came out from behind the wall.

"You stayed out late last night." Pepper came over to me, dropping her hand on my shoulder.

"I was seeing Tani."

"Harry's sister?"

"How did you know about her?" Dad budged in.

"Daughters tell their moms everything." Pepper shrugged with a smile.

"They tell their dads everything too, right?" He looked at me.

I shrugged. "Not everything everything."

He furrowed his eyebrows in offense. I snickered as I tipped my cup all the way up.

The last few drops slid into my mouth. I put the cup back down on the island and looked up to mom.

"Are you working today?"

"Nope." She smiled and kissed my forehead. "I'm spending the day with you and your dad."

I smiled widely. "Nice."

"So, what should we do today?" Dad grabbed my cup and dropped it at the sink along with his own.

He passed a full cup over to Pepper.

"A party?" I gave then a toothy smile.

"No." Pepper shook her head.

"Oh, come on! We could invite everyone. Steve, Clint, Sam, even Scott."

"Who's Scott, again?"

I flattened my gaze at dad. "Ant-Man?"

He thought hard for a moment.

"Tiny dude that turned big?"

"Oh! Yeah, no." He chuckled with a playful smile across his face.

"You know Steve and the others are in hiding. They won't blow their cover."

"Please. You just don't want them to get caught."

He narrowed his eyes. "Uh, no."

I smirked. "Mhm."

"How about we do something better?" Pepper intercepted our bickering.

She walked her away around to stand next to Dad.
