(Thranduils POV)

Once upon a time in the heart of the great woodland realm, I, Thranduil, decided to take my dear adoptive daughter Gabriella on an unforgettable journey to Africa. It was a land far different from our usual haunts, teeming with a vibrancy and vitality that was truly awe-inspiring.

As we arrived, the warm hues of the setting sun painted the sky with shades of orange and red, mirroring the fiery passion of the land itself. Gabriella's eyes sparkled with anticipation, reflecting the beauty of the African plains. Her excitement was infectious, and I found myself sharing her enthusiasm.

Our first stop was the Serengeti, where we witnessed the Great Migration. The sight of thousands of wildebeests and zebras moving in harmony was a stark contrast to the solitary grace of the woodland creatures in my realm. Gabriella seemed mesmerized, her gaze following the herds as they moved across the plains.

We then ventured to the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro. Despite the hardships of the climb, Gabriella's spirit never waned. Her determination was admirable, reminding me of the resilience of my own people. When we reached the summit, we were rewarded with a breathtaking view that made our hearts swell with awe.

Our journey took us next to the vibrant city of Cape Town. We strolled through the colorful Bo-Kaap district, tasting the local cuisine and immersing ourselves in the rich tapestry of cultures. Gabriella's curiosity and open-mindedness made every interaction a joyous learning experience.

As our journey came to an end, I realized that this trip had not just been about exploring a new land. It was also about understanding each other better. Gabriella's passion for adventure and her love for life had left a lasting impression on me. As we returned to the woodland realm, I carried with me not just memories of Africa, but also a deeper appreciation for Gabriella's spirit.

In the end, it was not I who had taken Gabriella on an adventure, but Gabriella who had taken me on a journey of our father and daughter relationship and discovery. And for that, I am truly grateful.
