So, I wanted to share a little note about my fanfiction, "My Secret Crush," which is actually inspired by this amazing drama called "Hidden love" (Which is based on a Chinese novel) that I recently watched. It's been such a huge inspiration for me, and I couldn't help but let its magic influence my own story.
I'm taking some of the themes and elements from the novel and changing names and places. The original novel was written in Chinese, and there are multiple English translations available. However, most of them are done using Google Translate, which can result in inaccurate translations.
When I came across one of these translations, I felt my brain draining. The grammar mistakes and wrong pronunciation made it really difficult to enjoy the story to its fullest. So, I decided to put in the effort to edit the entire novel.
I wanted to make sure that every chapter was polished and error-free, so that readers like you could have a smooth and enjoyable reading experience. I took the time to carefully correct the grammar mistakes, fix the plot errors, and even rephrase certain parts to make the novel flow better in English.
I want to make sure that my efforts align with your expectations as a reader. I'm really excited to see how it all comes together, and I hope you'll enjoy reading it as much as I've enjoyed writing it! If you have any thoughts or questions, feel free to share.
I just want to clarify that I'm not copying the novel or drama at all. I'm actually taking inspiration from it to create my own Jikook fanfiction. It's like using the novel as a starting point and then putting my own unique twist on it. And of course, I'll give all the credit to the original author because they deserve it. I want to make sure everyone knows that this is my own take on the story, while still acknowledging the inspiration I got from the novel. I hope that clears things up!
