I had gained a form of consciousness, that didn't mean I had any idea where I was.
It felt oddly familiar, but at the same time like a part of me that I had lost a long time ago.
Then I heard her laugh.
The first sound that I ever remember hearing.
For the life of me I couldn't remember why that laugh was so calming, so warm.
Then her face came into a blurry focus.
And suddenly I was on the side lines.
The room was so familiar, yet so foreign.
A woman with long brown hair was holding a baby and looking down at him lovingly. The baby was crying and the mom was humming a song while smiling.
Then everything hit me like a tidal wave. Memories I had long forgotten.
