A few days later, Steve had talked to Fury and was no happier with him. Jaime hadn't spoken to the redhead, despite Natasha trying to contact her. Her hair had gotten quite long, so feeling not the best and just needing a new haircut, Jaime decided to get twists.

She had bought a new boxing bag and hung it up in her room to let all her frustration go. This morning, when Steve was about to wake her up for their usual morning run, she was already up and punching the bag.
Now, Jaime had put on a simple outfit, knowing that the two were going to the VA where Sam works.

When they got there, a session was already in progress, so they stood by the door listening to Sam speak. A woman had just shared her experience of swerving a plastic bag after mistaking it for an IED.
"Some stuff you leave there, other stuff you bring back. It's our job to figure out how to carry it," Sam looked over the people listening as he spoke the encouraging words. "Is it gonna be in a big suitcase or in a little man's purse? It's up to you."
Steve and Jaime waited in the hall as people started to disperse out of the room. Sam spoke to one of the listeners before making his way over to a table near the duo.
