As the weeks passed, Joong and Dunk continued their passionate fling, stealing moments of stolen bliss whenever their busy schedules allowed. But amidst the whirlwind of their burgeoning romance, Dunk began to notice something peculiar - a persistent feeling of nausea that seemed to linger long after their passionate encounters.

At first, Dunk brushed off the symptoms as nothing more than a passing bout of indigestion. But as the days turned into weeks and the nausea refused to abate, he couldn't shake the nagging feeling that something was amiss.

One evening, as he lay curled up on his couch, clutching his stomach in discomfort, Dunk couldn't help but wonder if there was more to his symptoms than meets the eye.

Dunk: This can't just be a stomach bug. Something's not right.

With a heavy heart, Dunk reached for his phone, his fingers trembling slightly as he dialed Joong's number. He knew he needed to tell Joong about his condition, but the thought of sharing such personal news filled him with trepidation.

Joong's voice came through the line, filled with warmth and concern.

Joong: "Hey, Dunk. What's wrong? You sound... off."

Dunk hesitated for a moment, the words catching in his throat as he struggled to find the courage to speak.

Dunk: "Joong, I... I think something's wrong. I've been feeling sick lately, and it's not getting any better."

Joong's concern was palpable, his voice soft and reassuring as he urged Dunk to seek medical attention.

Joong: "Dunk, you need to see a doctor. It could be nothing, but it's better to be safe than sorry."

With Joong's words echoing in his mind, Dunk made an appointment with his doctor, his heart pounding with anxiety as he awaited the results of his tests.

The following day, Dunk found himself sitting in the waiting room of the hospital, his nerves on edge as he waited for his name to be called. Beside him, Joong sat in silent support, his presence a comforting anchor amidst the sea of uncertainty.

As Dunk's name was finally called, he rose from his seat, his stomach churning with anxiety as he followed the nurse down the hallway to the examination room. Joong trailed behind him, his hand resting reassuringly on Dunk's shoulder as they walked.

The doctor greeted them with a warm smile, his eyes filled with compassion as he listened to Dunk's symptoms and ordered a series of tests to be performed.

Doctor: "We'll run some blood tests and do an ultrasound to see if we can pinpoint the cause of your symptoms, Dunk. Try not to worry. We'll get to the bottom of this."

Dunk nodded silently, his mind reeling with worry as he lay back on the examination table, the hum of the ultrasound machine filling the room.

As the doctor conducted the ultrasound, Dunk's heart raced with anticipation, his eyes fixed on the screen as he awaited the results. And then, in an instant, everything changed.

Doctor: "Well, Dunk, it seems we've found the cause of your symptoms."

Dunk's breath caught in his throat as he turned to the doctor, his heart pounding with fear.

Dunk: "What is it? What's wrong with me?"

The doctor's smile was gentle as he delivered the unexpected news.

Doctor: "Congratulations, Dunk. You're pregnant."

The doctor's words hung in the air like a heavy cloud, and Dunk's initial shock quickly gave way to a surge of anger and disbelief.

Dunk: "Pregnant? That's impossible!"

His voice was laced with frustration as he shot a glare at the doctor, his hands clenched into fists at his sides.

Doctor: "I assure you, Dunk, the tests don't lie. It seems you're expecting."

Dunk's mind raced with a whirlwind of emotions - fear, confusion, and a deep-seated anger at the universe for throwing such a curveball his way. He turned to Joong, his eyes blazing with intensity.

Dunk: "And you! How could you let this happen?"

Joong's expression softened, his own shock evident as he reached out to comfort Dunk.

Joong: "Dunk, how am I supposed to expect something like this? I would never have let this happen if I had known."

But Dunk wasn't placated, his anger boiling over as he turned away from Joong, his fists trembling with pent-up frustration.

Dunk: "I can't do this, Joong. I can't bring a child into this world."

Joong's heart sank at Dunk's words, his own sense of helplessness mirrored in Dunk's eyes.

Joong: "Dunk, please. Let's talk about this. We can figure something out together."

Dunk stormed out of the examination room, his steps heavy with anger and frustration. But Joong was hot on his heels, determined not to let Dunk face this alone.

Joong called after him, his voice filled with desperation.

Joong: "Wait, Dunk! Please, let's talk about this,"

But Dunk didn't stop, his pace quickening as he pushed through the hospital doors and out into the cool evening air. Joong chased after him, his heart pounding in his chest as he reached out to grab Dunk's arm.

Joong pleaded, his voice cracking with emotion.

Joong: "Dunk, please. Don't shut me out."

Dunk whirled around to face him, his eyes blazing with fury. Dunk spat, his voice laced with bitterness.

Dunk: "What is there to talk about, Joong? I'm pregnant, for God's sake! This changes everything,"

Joong took a step closer, his expression filled with remorse, his voice soft and pleading.

Joong: "I know, Dunk. I know this is unexpected, but we can figure it out together. We don't have to face this alone."

But Dunk shook his head, his resolve unwavering, his voice trembling with emotion.

Dunk: "I can't do this, Joong. I won't bring a child into this world when I'm not ready."

Joong's heart ached at Dunk's words, his own sense of helplessness mirrored in Dunk's eyes.

Joong: "Dunk, please. Don't make any rash decisions. Let's take some time to think this through."

But Dunk was already turning away, his footsteps echoing in the silence as he disappeared into the night.

As Joong watched Dunk go, his heart heavy with regret and uncertainty, he knew that their relationship had reached a crossroads. And as he braced himself for the challenges that lay ahead, Joong couldn't help but wonder if their love, however fleeting, would be enough to weather the storm that threatened to tear them apart.
