The next day, Magnolia was sitting in her room watching a mundane movie when her phone ran, she placed the phone to her ear. "Hello?" She said "Hey, I'm sorry but I'm not going to be able to make it tonight. We have an envoy from the Clave here and they're temporarily taken over the Institute." Alec said "Wait? I thought your parents were in charge." She said "They are but now they are being sent to Idris and we are being evaluated." Alec said "Oh okay." She said "I'm sorry." Alec huffed
"It's okay, later. I'll let you go, don't want to ruin your chances." Magnolia
"Magnolia." He said "Bye Alec." She said
"Bye Lia." He said She hung up the phone, laying back in her bed staring at the ceiling. A couple hours later, Magnolia was still laying in her bed staring at the ceiling as it magically reflected the nighttime sky. The sound of her phone ringing brought her out of her thoughts as pressed the screen, putting it on speaker.
"You're on speaker." she said "I don't like her." Izzy said "You need to be a little more specific babe." Magnolia replied "Lydia Branwell. She's the envoy for the Clave and she is on my mom's ass. Like how did she catch that arrow and now she's questioning why we are talking with Luke." Izzy complained
"Hold on, she caught an arrow. Besides the point, what's wrong with Luke?" Magnolia asked
"Oh there was an attack on the Jade Wolf." she said
"What?! Is Luke okay?" Magnolia asked
"He's fine, a couple of his packs are not." Izzy said
"What are they doing about it?" Magnolia asked "I don't know, Lydia took Alec and they are checking it out." Izzy said
Magnolia stared at the ceiling, not liking the sound of this.
"Izzy, this sucks, my dad won't be home for another two days, just keep me in the loop, please." Magnolia said
"Of course." Izzy said before hanging up
She grabbed her phone before getting up, starting to get ready for the way.
