The next night, Magnolia sat on the couch staring out the balcony windows seeing the orange sky turn into the dark blue that was so comforting. Magnus walked out spotting his daughter, still dressed in her robe.

"What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at Alec's wedding?" He asked
"He's marrying her, dad and there is nothing I can do to stop it. It's happening all over again." She said

Magnus sat beside her, grabbing her hand.
"In the early 1900's, you couldn't fight for who you wanted back then, don't let it stop you now." Magnus said
"I can't ask him to give up everything for me." Magnolia said

"Do something for yourself, for once. You have been alive for over two centuries and you've barely lived. You've let one love slip through your fingers, are you going to do it again?" Magnus asked
She stared at him.
"Go... go get him." Magnus whispered

Magnolia snapped her fingers, changing into her long backless dress, her hair, cascading down her back with her strappy heels

Magnolia snapped her fingers, changing into her long backless dress, her hair, cascading down her back with her strappy heels. She smiled at her dad, grabbing his hand as he created a portal to the Institute. The two arrive walking toward the hall, Magnolia shoves the doors open, stopping in the middle of the aisle, she looks up to see Lydia and Alec staring toward her. Magnolia and Alec's eyes met, her stomach dropped realizing what she had done but she isn't backing down, not this time. Maryse got up from her seat racing back to the girl.

"Magnolia, leave this wedding now." Maryse said

"Maryse, with all respect, this is between me and your son. I'll leave if he asks me to." Magnolia said standing up taller, more confident. The two stare at one another, not needing to say anything.

"You invited Magnolia?" Jace asked

"Yeah, but I didn't think she'd come." Izzy said with a smile

"Are you gonna be okay, buddy?" Jace asked

Alec kept his eyes on Magnolia as his heart began to race, not knowing what to do in this moment.

"Alec?" Lydia whispered

Alec turned to her, nervous.

"Hey." she whispered

"I...I can't breathe." Alec said
"I know, it's okay." Lydia said
"I can't do this. I thought we were doing the right thing, but... this isn't it." Alec said
"You don't have to explain." Lydia said
"Lydia, I'm sorry." Alec said
"Hey, you deserve to be happy and I really think it's going to be with her. Okay? I'll be fine." Lydia said
Alec turned, facing the crowd, looking at all of them before his eyes met with Magnolia's once more. The two eyes got lost in one another's, as he walked toward her.
Maryse walked toward her son, confused.

"Alec, what are you doing?" She asked

"Enough." Alec said

He walked past her, heading straight for the warlock, their eyes still connected. When he finally reached the end of the aisle, he gently grabbed her waist, connecting their lips. She was shocked at first, as she quickly fell into rhythm, kissing back. She wrapped her arms around his neck as she smiled into the kiss. Everyone in the room watches the couple, Maryse not being too happy. As Jace and Simon smirked, Clary smiled and Izzy overjoyed with happiness. Alec pulled away, Magnolia looked up to him, a smirk growing pulling him back and kissing him once again. The two pulled away from each other, just staring, smiles on their faces as they looked around.
"Oh god." Magnolia said
She froze, wide-eyed, as they stared at each other.

"What did you just do?" Magnolia whispered

"What did I just do?" Alec asked

"You just did that." Magnolia asked

She looked away from him, looking to her friends and then to Maryse, Robert and Hodge, he stared down at her, looking at her. Magnolia looked back at him, smiling as Alec looked to his mom, who walked off angry. Izzy came walking down, passed her mother over to her brother and best friend.

"Alec, I am so proud of you." Izzy said
Alec smiled at her, happy with himself.
"Guys, that was incredible. It was like watching the live version of The Graduate. You know, the Dustin Hoffman movie? The amazing one? You were Ben." Simon said pointing to Magnolia

"Eliane! And you were Elaine." He said pointing to Alec

"I mean, a...a taller, masculine, handsome version of her; but, the alter, though, you were like...Ben! And then...and then now, you're both sitting on the bus at the end of the movie, both totally stoked, but wondering, like "What're we gonna do now?" You know?" Simon said
"That was amazing, Simon. We are gonna have to watch that together some other time, so understand the reference you are trying to make." Magnolia said

"Who invited the vampire?" Alec asked

"Seriously?" Simon asked

Magnolia patted Alec's chest, giving a small laugh. Izzy walked over, hugging her best friend.
"You did it." Izzy whispered

"Yeah, I did." Magnolia said

"What changed your mind?" Izzy asked
She looked over to her dad, who was discussing with Simon and Alec.

"My dad and an old friend." Magnolia said

Izzy pulled her in for another hug before her father pulled her in for a giant one, squeezing her tight.

"Woah, dad." Magnolia said
"Hold on to this one." Magnus whispered in her ear

They pulled apart.

"Fight for this one." he said

She smiled, nodding before quickly hugging Simon. Alec grabbed her hand, gently pulling her into him, her laughing.
"Woah, why hello there." She said

"Hi." he smiled

"Can you tell me why our first kiss was in front of everyone?" Magnolia asked

"That was not my finest hour." He said

"It's okay, it was a pretty epic first kiss." she said

"Was it now?" he asked
She nodded, smiling with a laugh. Alec leaned down, kissing her, she smiled into the kiss when someone tapped her shoulder. The two pulled away seeing Magnus before them.

"Sorry to interrupt the love fest, my visit here wasn't only for you two. We need to speak privately." Magnus said
Magnus walked the group back to one of the rooms, making the magical items appear on the table before them.

"I pulled every item of magical importance from Ragnor's belongings but we can't determine which will lead to the Book of the White." Magnus said pointing to Magnolia

"Wait, this bookmark, I've seen it before in the alternate dimension, Magnolia showed me a book of spells, and this was in it. It must have been the Book of the White." Clary said
"If that's the case, we can use the bookmark to track the owner of the book." Alec said
"Okay." Jace said grabbing for the bookmark

Magnus grabbed it quickly, giving him a smirk.

"Warlock tracking is stronger. Flower, if you will." Magnus said

Magnolia walked over standing beside her dad as the two both placed their hands over the bookmark, closing their eyes. They focused their power on the tracking when Magnolia noticed the scream coming from within the coffin, spotting who it was. The two gasps, their eyes shooting open as Magnolia looks into her father's eyes, squinting them.
"You've got to be fucking kidding me." Magnolia growled

"Well there's good news and bad news. The good news is we know the owner." Magnus said

"The bad?" Clary asked

"It's Camille." Magnolia huffed

"Camille?" Clary asked
"Looks like Raphael has her locked up in the basement of Hotel DuMort." Magnus said

"Good riddance." Magnolia said

"Well after I punched her, there's no way she'll help me." Clary said

Magnolia's eyes lit up, smiling at Clary.

"Oh, I really like her now." Magnolia said

Alec grabbed her lightly, pulling her toward him.

"Not helping." he whispered

"She won't have a choice, trust me." Jace said

The two stared at one another before Jace walked off.
