In the previous chapter: "Just ask an upper class!" she suggested

"But what do I say to them?"

"That another upper class mediator has tasked you to go look for her".

Spork thought about that for a moment

"Actually that's a good idea, what time is it now?"

"11:50. It will be lunchtime soon" replied Jessica

"I guess I could hurry. See you" and with that she left.

...

after picking up the phone in her room, Spork arrived at the elevator that took to the participant hold section, an upper class was there to stop her though.

"Where are you going?"

"To look for a participant" the girl replied

"Who gave you permission to do so?"

"An upper class mediator!"

"Which one?" they said suspiciously

"Uh, the green one".

The upper class mediator laughed for a second "Status would never ask a participant to do her bidding, nice try"

"But it's very important, trust me!" she yelled

"Go tell that to the trial master".

Then someone walked in on them, interrupting the argument

"Let her go" said Vaock

"Who's the upper class here?"

"You don't need to tell me. I will watch over her" he explained

"Yeah!" added Spork.

The upper class mediator sighed and told them "I guess you two can go, but she doesn't anything remotely suspicious tell us upper classes as soon as you can, young mister"

The guy nodded, and the mediators went inside the elevator.

"Hello. I never thought I'd see you again" the blonde admitted

"Eh, the world is small" he said

There was a little awkwardness while they were riding so Spork decided to speak again, "So, why'd you come help me out?"

"I had nothing else to do I guess. A lot of mediators have been busy with phase 3... and somehow I'm not one of them"

"Is phase 3 a secret project?" she asked

"No, it's just something that is coming out soon. You're new so you're probably not gonna see it before it is publicly released".

Spork was a bit curious, she hadn't even seen phase 2 yet; of course she didn't approve of all the death but she couldn't just say it out loud. Finally after a minute or two the elevator came to a stop, they exited and looked around

"Have you got unfinished business with one of the participants?" Vaock asked

"Yeah, kinda" Spork climbed down and searched around for Viva, holding the paper in front of her. Vaock followed her wondering who in the world she be looking for. The participants around looked at them, like Ari who was talking with Drak

"Look Drak" she told him

"Where?" "Turn around", he did but couldn't see the mediators

"Some mediators were walking down" she explained

"Phase 1 or 2 enrollments?" Drak asked back

"That can't be; I only saw two"

"You think they're up to something?", Ari nodded "I think we should follow them"
