Chapter 24

Layla POV.

I woke up around 6:30 because my phone went off. August was still sleep so I was gone write him a note but he turn over and looked at me.

"Why you leaving so early." He said sitting slowly.

"I gotta be at work fah 8." I said getting up.

"You could get ready over here and I could bring you." He said smiling at me.

Lord knows I don't want to leave but I have to.

"I don't have no toothbrush no nothing." I said putting my hair in a ponytail.

"I got chu just go in my closet and find something."he said while getting out of bed.

"Alright."

I walked upstairs to his room and found a black muscle shirt and some rose joggers and I kept my shoes of course. I put my underwear and bra in the washer.

Then took I took a 30 minute shower. When I got out I dried off then put on some lotion.

I let my hair puff out with its natural curl pattern. Then I heard a know at the door.

I wrapped a towel around me and cracked the door.

"Here girl." He said laughing while handing me my underwear and bra from the dryer.

"Thanks what time is it."

"7:30." He answered
"Alright I'm bout to get out." I smiled slowly closing the door and then rushing the clothes I found in his closet.

His shirt was big so I tied it in the front.

When I got out it was 7:50.

"Aw man we gotta go." I grabbed his hand and he grabbed his keys and then he dropped me off.

When we pulled up to the studio some dancers was standing outside. I got out the car and leaned on the window.

"Thanks you I had a good time." I said looking at him

"You welcome I had a good time to." He said smiling biting his lips.

"Oh yeah my birthday next month and I was wondering if-"
He answered before I could finish.

"Yeah I'll be there just call me I might get you something." He said laughing like it was so funny.

"Might you better." I said getting up from the window walking off.

He blew his horn then drove off.

"Damn girl you mess with him." One of the dancers said walking up to me with a backpack.

"Nah we just cool that's all." I said as I unlocked the place and told them to take position.

"Alright today we have somebody new coming in he go by the name of usher so I need y'all to be on y'all game when he come in here." I said going to the front seeing if they were in place.

"Lay Lay what we dancing to." One of my favorite boy dancers said his name is Zack.

"We doing a mix of three songs by usher number one is my favorite it superstar and then yeah after that I don't mind." I said smiling cause I liked all thoughts songs.

"Alright let's go." He said stretching.

We started the music and I showed them the moves and they learned it quick and on time we practiced for at least 50 minutes then usher walked through the studio while we were taking a break.

He walked up to me and he had his son with him.

"Hey you must be the lovely layla that almost all the superstars talk about." He said holding his hand out.
