Daniel pov

When I walked out kate and oh boy house I was disgusted by the sight of her being with someone else.

Yeah I did show up to her house with a girl but I didn't tell that bitch to come out to door.

I dropped her off at her house and I went home.
I was thinking about what I was going to do to get her back but it wasn't working.

I called her phone to see if she was going to answer but it didn't work. That just made me angry.

Monica pov

While I was at kate house at kate house I took her phone cause I know she didn't want to be bothered and just as I suspected Daniel kept calling.

So I was declining him cause he was not about to make her nerves bad.

Layla pov.

The movie went off and I wanted to talk to my momma alone. So I grabbed her hand and we went to my room.

She sat on the bed and I was pacing back and forth worried about what she might she.

"What wrong sweetie." She said in a concern voice.

"Okay I have more than one thing to tell you..and I don't want you to get upset but there is a good things to." I said pulling a chair in front of her while playing in my hair.

"Just tell me the bad then good so it could end nice I guess." She said smiling waiting for what about to come out my mouth.

"Well the bad things are...well I never really paid attention to it until I got older that dad was doing drugs and not the good kind.. He use to have a lot of girl come through the house acting like they my momma except one who Monica beat up..all he was saying is how he can't wait until you come back." I said looking up at her then back down.

"Really he's doing drugs."

"Yeah he said that you left it for him and some nights he would try to touch me but I held it down and stayed strong..then he kicked me out and I found my real dad because of my grand mother helped me out and his name is-"

"Michael I know." She said while a tear fell.

"Yeah well me and him gotten real close just like father and daughter type close and I been staying with him. Then the day you came I was visiting..all I know is that in his room(Daniel room) he have a calendar making down the day you get out and I'm the only one who knows then when you keep reading the calendar they have a date he marked saying somebody dies but I don't know who." I said seeing fear in her eyes."we have to leave. Mom that the only way we can get away."

"No Layla you down understand that's what I did before and he found me." She cryied out.

"Okay well let me tell you the good things."

"Alright." She smiled

"Okay the good things are that I'm going on tour with usher which is good because im going to be getting my name up in the industry and pays very well. Also I have this friend that I'm crushing on but I don't know about dating him." I said looking down.

"Why is that." She said lefting my head up.

"Well he's famous and I don't want like people all in our business you know." I said looking back down.

"Well those are the type of things you have to think about but if really like him then go for it but make sure he wants you for you not for what's downstairs." She said looking at me I just smiled.
