Post Race Interview Lando: Well hello Sophie. (Teasing her) Sophie: Hi Lando. (Sarcastically) So, what an exhilarating race that was today! How are you feeling after that performance? Lando: Thanks, it definitely was intense out there. But you know, seeing your smile here makes it all worth it. Sophie: (blushing) Well, thank you, Lando. You always manage to bring excitement to the track. What was your strategy for today. Lando: Oh, you know, just trying to keep up with the competition and stay ahead of the curb. Sophie: And what about that daring overtake in turn 2? Lando: Ah, well sometimes you just have to seize the opportunity when it presents itself. Sophie: Now, looking ahead, what's next for you? Lando: Well hopefully more podium finishes and maybe a few more moments like this with you. What do you say? Sophie: I think you might just have to earn that podium finish, Lando. But hey, keep up the good work and who knows what might happen! Lando: (winking) Challenge accepted! Thanks for the chat I gotta head to the podium. Sophie: Thank you, Lando. Until next time.
After that interview sophie felt taken aback by the public flirting. She couldn't help but worry about what the fans and news outlets might say but it didn't matter because she was happy. Sophie made her way to the podium to watch the celebrations before heading back to the F1 holding area where she gathered her things and headed back to the hotel for the night.
Text Message Lando 🧡 Hey Soph. Max is hosting an after party tonight to celebrate the first race of the season. You should come! X Sophie 💞 Nah, I don't think that's my scene. I wouldn't know anyone there. Lando 🧡 Well you know me and a few of the other drivers so that's enough. Come! Sophie 💞 Okay, I've got nothing else to do with my night anyways. Lando 🧡 Perfect. Meet me in the lobby at 8pm. x Sophie 💞 See you then I guess x
Sophie rushed into the shower to freshen up before starting to get ready for her night out. She felt apprehensive and nervous about going out as she doesn't like to be in uncomfortable situations where she doesn't know anyone but after all she'll have Lando. While in the shower Sophie kept replaying her and Lando's interview cringing at all of the public flirting but after all they are both young and single so they can do what they want. Sophie in the past has had a lot of backlash on her social media through her influencing so she was mostly used to it by now however that didn't mean that the rumours and comments didn't bother her. She decided not to go on social media for the night and just enjoy herself after all she too is celebrating completing her first race weekend.
As Sophie was getting ready she reminisced on memories she had with her father and F1 and it made her quite emotional to think how proud he would be of her right now making both their dreams come true.
Sophie was finally ready and headed down to the lobby of the hotel where she saw lando dressed up in a suit. He looked incredibly handsome.
