Sophie's POV
The music was still blasting from inside the club as Lando and I remained outside taking in this moment between us. My cheeks started to ache with the amount of smiling I was doing right now but I couldn't help it. Lando has just confessed he wants to explore our little connection and those are words I've wanted to say myself for what seems like forever. Lando pulled me in for a hug as I felt the warmth of his body spread across the whole of mine. I looked up at Lando and without a second thought he pulled my face close to his as we shared a kiss. I've kissed a lot of boys before but this felt different. You know in the movies where a couple kiss and fireworks go off everywhere, that is exactly what I felt inside my body.

The two of us eventually pulled away giggling to each other. Lando suggested we should head back inside before anyone wondered where we were so I took his hand once more as he led me through the crowd. The night finally came to an end and we all headed home in the same cars we arrived in. Lando and I made our way to our rooms before checking nobody was in the hall we sneaked a quick peck before heading to our next door rooms.

The next day has arrived and I am flying back home to the UK for a few days to see my family and friends however I can't help but feel a little sad that I won't see Lando and the other F1 drivers for the next few days as that has became my new normal for the past week. However I packed my bags and headed to the airport when I received a message off Lando.

Hey, I knocked on your door but I'm guessing you've already left for the airport. So have a safe flight and I'll see you soon ;)

Sorry! I thought you were still sleeping. Thank you and see you soon indeed :)

Over the next few days Lando and Sophie remained in constant contact FaceTiming and phoning each other at any opportunity they had to update each other on what they were up to. Although they were only apart for a few days it felt like a lifetime for the pair but the day had finally arrived that Sophie was travelling to Saudi Arabia for the second Grand Prix of the season.
