Steve did end up joining us in the park, probably more worried that Loki would run. I knew he needed to get out of the tower, get some air, be given a chance to stretch his legs without fear. None of that would happen in the tower, not with Tony or Fury hanging around. It would be even worse if Odin dropped in. As Loki and I lay on our blanket looking at the stars I heard him sigh. It was one of relief and content. "Thank you," Loki said.

"You're welcome," I replied. I wasn't sure what he was thanking me for; if it was for tonight or getting him out of the cage, stopping Odin when he was here. Whatever it was I knew it was the first time someone was showing him acceptance in a long time. That's what all of us needed.

"Why was Steve worried about us going into the park after dark?" Loki asked.

"It isn't safe," I replied. "Well, at least for most. Good place to get killed, kidnapped, or raped; especially if you're a woman or disabled. Given the fact you have magic, the first super soldier is here, and I've trained with the Avengers, we aren't the average person."

Now that Loki was talking again I managed to talk him into therapy to help him learn how to cope with things that had happened to him. I would like to get Thor and Odin to do so as well, Thor I could probably convince, but Odin was another story. I was able to listen to Loki, but there were certain things I wasn't able to help with, that was why I suggested the therapy.

He still stayed in my room, it was safe there, and he felt safe. I think he also liked the fact that someone would wake him from his nightmares and hold him afterward without question. "You waiting for Loki?" Bucky asked. I was sitting outside the therapist's office, and Loki was in session. I always went with him, in case he needed me. Some of the things that came up were quite upsetting for him. I seemed to be the only one that could calm him down when he started to hyperventilate.

"Yes. I remember doing the same for you once," I said looking up at Bucky.

He chuckled, "I remember. I didn't trust anyone at the time. At the time, I thought I was going to be used by everyone, never have a choice."

"You're free now," I said.

"With your help," he replied.

I stood and pulled him into a hug, "You're stronger than you think Bucky, you would have made it without me."

At that moment Loki came out of the office and I could tell he had been crying. I went over to him and pulled him into a hug. He returned it, "can we go get a milkshake?" he asked.

"Of course," I replied.
