A/N: I was sent a request by Shannon1300 for her and Jasper to go on a date and Emmett comes along and messes things up for them. Here is the request copy and pasted. "Jasper and I are girlfriend and boyfriend, and we are on a romantic date, laughing and smiling, and then Emmett comes in and teases Jasper and Jasper gets angry and Emmett and Jasper fight, and Esme and Carlisle come in and separate Jasper and Emmett, and tell them they are both grounded, Jasper is mad and runs to his room crying, I go after him and see him on the bed crying, Jasper says he is sorry for ruining the date, I tell him he didn't ruin it, and Esme comes in and asks me nicely to leave because Jasper is grounded, I kiss and hug Jasper and leave:) thank you so much 😊 and sorry for long description XD"

Jasper was picking me up in an hour. He said he had a surprise for me. I was wearing a pair of leggings with jean shorts over them along with a plain tank top and one of Jasper's flannels. He had told me to dress in something comfortable. I pulled on my tennis shoes just as my door bell rang. I ran to the door from my bedroom to see my boyfriend. "Hey there Jazz," I said wrapping my arms around him and placing a kiss to his lips. "How was the mountain lion?"
He laughed at me, "Fine darlin' how are you doing?"
"Even better now that you're here," I replied pulling him down for another kiss. He chuckled and gave in to the kiss. "So I'm told you have a surprise for me. Can I have a hint?" I asked.
"Nope, that would ruin the fun, come on," he said pulling me on to the porch. I laughed at him. I locked the door before chasing him to his car. I knew he could beat me but I lived on a somewhat busy street, he couldn't show off here. Once in the car he started driving and I didn't pay attention to where he was going. I was to busy talking to him and just looking at the perfection in front of me.
A short time later he stopped the car and announced we had arrived. We were outside his house. He came around to my side of the car and pulled me on his back. "Close your eyes." I giggled as he gave me a goofy grin.
"You went all out didn't you?" I asked smiling. I just couldn't help but be happy when I was with him. I wrapped my arms around his neck and buried my face in his shoulder. I soon felt a gust of wind as he ran and with in a few seconds it stopped. We were by the river and there was a picnic set up. "This is amazing," I said kissing his cheek. "Thank you."
I slid off his back and went over to the basket of food. "I'm glad you like it darlin'," he replied. He set out the food and proceeded to watch me eat. He pulled out some grapes after I ate my sandwich. "Here, catch," he said. I turned to look at him and saw he was ready to throw it. I leaned back and opened my mouth. Our game lasted about five minutes before he pulled out another surprise.
Chocolate covered strawberries. He held one in his mouth and leaned toward me. I giggled at him. I took a bite of the strawberry smiling at him. "If you wanted a kiss all you had to was ask," I said going back for the rest of the treat.
"I like this better," he said.
"I feel like a baby bird," I said giving him a shove. He laughed at that one.
"You are my baby bird," he said.
"What ever you say Jazz," I replied. He knew that nick name annoyed me. "Hey you ever been hand fishin'?" I asked.
"No ma'am, I grew up in Texas," he replied.
"There're lakes in Texas," I replied. "I'll show you." I took off my shoes and socks and pulled my phone and house key from my pocket and set them on the blanket. I lowered myself onto a rock in the river, keeping out of the water as much as possible.
"Shannon, be careful, I can't cross the river, if you fall in," Jasper started. The current was rather strong.
"Relax Jasper, I'm all right. Oh look here comes a big one," I said spotting a nice big trout. Just before he reached me I stuck my hands in the water and my fingers into his mouth and through the gills. "Got it," I said standing on my rock.
"Very nice, now come up here before-" Jasper started but was cut off my Emmett running into him. The two had been in a prank war for weeks now.
"Where did you put it?" Emmett yelled.
"Pay attention to your surroundings!" Jasper yelled back pushing him off.
"Where is it?" Emmett asked. I climbed back up out of the river bank to see Emmett go for Jasper.
"EMMETT Stop!" I shouted. I knew better than to get between them.
"Where is it? Where did you hide the Xbox?" Emmett yelled.
"Are you fucking serious Emmett? You're over reacting!" I yelled as they rolled by me.
"That's it, your putting my mate in danger," Jasper said.
Oh shit. I grabbed my phone and called Carlisle. I had his cell phone on speed dail because I tended to be clumsy and get hurt a lot. As soon as he picked up I told him what was going on and I needed help to break them up. Within seconds he and Esme were there and pulling them apart and Esme was going all 'I'm ashamed of you two' on them. She told them they were grounded and sent them to the house.
She apologized for them as we picked up the picnic. "Don't worry about it, brothers fight." I put my shoes back on and grabbed my key and phone and turned to her, "Can I say goodbye to Jasper before I go?"
"Yeah go ahead, then Carlisle will take you home," Esme said. I ran up to the house and to Jasper's room. I didn't even bother knocking, I knew he would have heard me coming.
"Jasper are you all right?" I asked pulling him into a hug.
"I should be asking you that. I ruined the whole thing," Jasper replied.
His voice sounded like he was crying. "Hey, you didn't ruin it. Today was wonderful, I had a great time. It was perfect," I pulled him into a hug. "I'm fine Jazz. What about you?" I ran my fingers through his hair.
"Better knowing you're okay," he replied. I gave him a kiss just as Esme came in.
"Carlisle's waiting for you Shannon," she said.
"Thank you. Got to go Jazz. See you at school." I lent in for another kiss. "Rose and I will come up with something to get him back for messing up our date." He smirked at me as I winked and left his room. I hoped he wasn't grounded for too long.
