I had been training with the Ancient One for about two months now. I had lost both of my arms in an accident. A new guy had arrived and his hands shook. He was trying to open a portal. Day after day he tried to open a portal or cast a shield and failed. He blamed his shaking hands.

The Ancient one called him to her. Not again. In my time I had seen three of my classmates die on the great mountain because they couldn't open a portal. "My hands," he said as he went over to her.

"This isn't about your hands," she told him.

"How is this not about my hands?" he asked not believing her. She called over another student and me. The other was missing one hand, me well, both my arms. The one with one hand pushed his sleeves back and cast a shield. I then opened a portal. Dr. Strange looked at both of us shocked.

"Your problem is you don't believe," I stated to him. "Let go of your disbelief of magic and it will work. Think back to when you were a kid and anything was possible when you believed in Santa. Find that feeling, because that's what you need." I turned to walk away.

"I'd listen to her, come with me Steven," I heard the Ancient One say and a portal open.
