I walked through the halls of Hogwarts at night, as I often did as prefect. I also didn't sleep a lot, so I roamed the halls. Tonight though I wasn't alone in the halls, I could hear someone in a forgotten classroom. I followed my ears tp the student to find Newt. I came to sit down beside him, I knew the other students were cruel to him."What happened Newt?" I asked gently.

"They shoved me down the stairs after nearly drowning me in the toilet," he choked out.

"Here, come here," I said gently pulling him to me. "You don't deserve this Newt. You did nothing to earn their anger. None of this is your fault. You're a kind, sweet, young man with a big heart, something they'll never understand. You're beautiful inside and out." We went through this almost every night, I didn't know if anyone else told him that but he needed to hear it.

"Thank you (Y/N). You seem to be the only one that thinks so."

"Here," I said handing him the healing potion I made for him. He took it and drank it.

"I'm tired of all this. I'm tired of being a punching bag, of being slammed into walls and floors, of having to take a healing potion every day just so I can sleep at night. I'm so sick of it all. I just want it to stop." Newt leaned into me starting to sob.

"I know Newt, if I could string them up in the dungeon for you I would. I can slip some potion in their morning pumpkin juice so every time they sneeze they turn into a ferret for the next month." He laughed at that one.

"I would like to see that," Newt said smiling.

"Then it shall be done. I've had the potion done for a while, I tested it on my family."

"And the Headmaster?" Newt asked.

"He and Dumbledor know. They said to do it so they could pinpoint who the problem was. Give me names and I'll fix the potion to affect them. Revenge will be yours."
