Broken up people.
Some in pairs;
Some in Trios;
Some come solo,
And in groups.
Still people.
Seeking out salvation,
Revelation;
Illumination:
Love.
Striving for acceptance;
Understanding;
Connection and bond:
Tying them to other people;
Still people.
Flawed,
So perfectly flawed in every way;
Worthy of being;
Still people.
Oh people,
Just people:
Doing our best.
Whether lonely, content;
Disgruntled;
Depressed.
Still laughing,
And talking,
And hearing:
And jokes!
Still people.
Withdrawn or involved;
Animated with passion.
Believing beliefs;
Or rejecting the facts.
Still people.
There's no way to end,
The thing about people.
Since people are people,
Wherever they are.
