Just then, Calum came downstairs.
"Morning Mike."
"Morning Cal!" said Michael in his girl voice. (Watch the video to see his girl voice btw)
"...morning Leigh.."
I just stared down. He doesn't deserve any attention from me. After all, he would just take advantage of that.
"Ooookayyy!" said Michael.
He grabbed my hand and squeezed it. I looked at him and smiled. He smiled back.
I turned to Calum, who was on his phone. I looked at Michael, who was also staring at Calum. I continued to stare at Michael. He looked to me and gave that 'staring contest?' look, I nodded.
"3....2...1!!!!!!"
We both opened our eyes, and stared. I honestly loved playing this game with Michael. His eyes were amazing.
We stared at each other until our eyes teared up.
"On three, we blink...TOGETHER!"
"1..."
"2..."
"3...!"
I looked up, and saw that we both didn't blink. I busted out laughing, snorting and all!
He joined me in the laughter, except he woke up everyone else.
"Gawd! Michael, YOUR SO FRICKEN LOUD!!" said Ashton.
"What's so funny?" asked Luke.
"I don't know. They just randomly started laughing, and honestly-"
I interrupted.
"Well, you would've known what happened if you weren't on your phone trying to ignore us-"
"CAN YOU JUST SHUT UP?!" Calum yelled.
I squinted at him and smiled. He didn't get me, and it scares him.
"C'mon Cal, let's go calm down.."
Ashton took him upstairs to calm him down and I guess to give him 'tips' to control his anger.
"He should've bashed in your face when he had the chance!"
"Well that's pleasant!" I whispered.
"Glad you caught on!"
I rolled my eyes, and sat on Michael's lap. Michael put his chin on my shoulder, and rubbed my back. He was good at comforting, even if he thought he sucked at it, he was the best.
Luke kneeled next to me.
"Y'okay, darling?"
"Yeah...Calum just aggrevates me sometimes.."
Luke smiled and held my hand.
"Yes, Calum can be extremely aggravating, but I think he is just getting used to the adoption still."
"Who's my legal guardian?"
I have been wanting to know this for about 1 week now.
"Oh um..."
I lifted an eyebrow.
Michael sat me up on his lap, and told me,
"Me! I'm your guardian!"
I just smiled and nodded. WHEW! I THOUGHT THEY WERE GONNA SAY-
"No, Michael don't lie to her! It's Calum..."
AGHHH UHHHH NOOOO AAHHHH AAHHFGFAGHG IDONTWANTTHISTOBEREAL!!!
"Congratulations!"
"Shut up!" I spat.
"No, I believe you are the one Calum said to shut up-"
"CAN YOU JUST LEAVE? LIKE FOR ONCE CAN YOU JUST GO? GAWD! ALL YOU EVER DO IS PUT ME DOWN, AND CAUSE ME TO-TO- TO MAKE ME WANT TO KILL MYSELF! I DON'T LIKE THE WORD, SO....BUT ANYWAY! YOU NEED TO GO!"
I smiled.
"You've got to go, it's the end of the road,
No matter what you do or say,
Baby, you're not, wHAT I NEED!
IM OVER THIS, IM OVER YOU
IM NOT GONNA WASTE MY LIFE AWAAAYYYYY
THIS IS MY INDEPENDENCE DAY
IM MOVING ON, THERES NO EXCUSE

THIS IS MY INDEPENDENCE DAY!" I sang.
I've heard Michael and Ashton sing that song sometimes.
"What the actual f*ck?"
"It's a song.."
"You sing like sh*t."
Just then, Calum walked in.
"I'm sorry Leigh, and I mean it this time!"
I look at my fingers.
"I know I can't control my temper at times, but I try to. I will try harder from now on. And if I am a b*tch, just do something to let me know. It may seem like I don't listen to you when I act like that, but I listen to every word, and I take it in. I am really sorry. You will never understand how sorry I am."
"He's not sorry, he's just trying to trick you!"
I take a deep breath and close my eyes. I open them, only to meet his dark eyes.
"You promise?" I ask.
He smiles and nods.
"I promise."
