Leigh's POV

I walked through the doors, and looked around.

A lady with no boobs, blonde hair, and an extremely tight ponytail came up to me and my dad.

"Hi! You must be Leigh! Oh! And you must be Mr. Hood."

"Yeah, uh, where do we sign her in?"

"Oh! Right over here!"

She led us to a small plastic table that had three clipboards on it.

Calum grabbed the middle clipboard and wrote my name and his name.

"Alright! That's it!"

Calum looked at me and smiled with worried eyes. He squatted in front of me, and hugged me tight.

"You're gonna do fine, darling. Just remember that whatever happens, you can call me."

I nodded, and I pulled away from the hug.

"You have your phone?"

I nodded.

"I'm going to snapchat you, so you better answer!"

I nodded, and felt my eyes fill with tears. He hugged me again, and rubbed my back.

"It's ok. I love you."

"I love you too, dad."

I instantly felt his back perk up. He pulked away and looked into my eyes.

"Dad?"

I nodded and wiped away my tears.

He smiled, and kissed my forehead.

"Bye, Leigh!"

I waved to him as he walked out of the building, and into his car.

I turned to the lady, who was really cheerful.

"Follow me!!!"

I followed to a big open field with tons of kids. She went back inside, and I sat on a bench. I saw all the kids, running, laughing, hugging, having fun, and here I was, sitting alone on a bench...just like the good ole' adoption place. I looked around and saw a girl coming towards me.

"Who are you."

"Oh, um, Leigh."

"Well, Leigh, you better get the fuck off my bench."

I quickly stood up, and sat on another bench.

"Hahah! Hey guys! Look at this freak!"

Everyone surrounded me laughing and whispering, sone even pointed. I saw a girl standing in the back of the crowd. She looked different from everyone else. She had long dark brown hair, tan skin, hazel eyes, and looked very confused. She walked around the crowd, and motioned me to come by her. I slowly got up, and went by her.

"Come on!"

She ran to the bathroom, and I followed.

She closed the door, and locked it.

"Whew! That was close!"

"W-What?"

"Stay away from them."

She leaned over, and suddenly breadsticks fell out her pocket.

"WHY DO YOU HAVE BREADSTICKS IN YOUR POCKET IM"

She looked at me and stood up.

"I just came here to have a goid time and honestly im feeling so attacked right now."

We instantly both laughed.

"I'm Julie, but call me BAYBEE."

"Hi BAYBEE, I'm Leigh."

She smiled.

"Don't go by those kids out there, they're mean."

"I'm a freak, they weren't wrong about that."

"Don't worry, your not a freak, I have OCD, schizophrenia, and anxiety, so your not alone."

I felt more comfortable around her.

"Will you be my friend?" I asked.

"yES!" she answered excitedly.

I felt my phone vibrate.

"Snapchat

I smiled.

"Who's that?" she asked.

Should I tell her? Or will she take advantage that my dad is Calum Hood.

"My dad."

"What's his name?"

I took a deep breath.

"Calum Hood."

She smiled.

"Cool!"

She disn't know who he was...this is going to be a great summer.
