Chapter 17: The group project

I ran and ran with kwan jihu as the monster chased after us.

The rustling leaves and the noises of the monster's thumping were very loud.

The monster broke every tree and branch and crushed each leaf with great force within our path.

"Huff..! Huf..!"
I spoke as i felt exhausted.

Air came out of my mouth as i ran.

the monster screeched.

"GAHHH!!"

My ears were protected from the loud screech using my mana and used the rest of it by boosting my speed.

I ran through the forest vines and the leaves, and jumped unto each huge branch i see.

The monster screeched once more.

"GAHHHH!!!!!"

The system appeared and loaded two simple words.

[ Go Left. ] the system replied, directing us which way to go.

Me and the main protagonist went to the system's direction.

'Ugh!!!!' I pouted my eyes in an expressionless way, and began to continuously complain inside my head.

Kwan jihu stared and looked at me with a cold expression.

"Don't you think this a good method for training?"
Kwan jihu spoked.

'What do you mean by a good method!?'
I thought.

"No."
I spoke one simple word.

"Then don't complain." He spoke coldly.

He knew i was complaining by staring at me despite having an expressionless expression.

I groaned in exhaustion.

'HOW DID I EVEN GOT INTO THIS SITUATION..!!???'
I thought as i panicked even more.

40 minutes earlier...
Before we went inside the dungeon.

Intrusive thoughts and random questions, along with overthinking would appear when you blank yourself to space..

Thats what i thought to myself.

I mean, I'm currently staring at the ceiling while laying on my bed at 3 am..

How long have i been asleep?
None. I was never asleep.

In other words, i have been awake for at least 4 hours straight.

'Prepared..prepared......TRAINING!?' I thought as i overthink myself again.

I once again felt dejected as i laid on my bed for the 6th time.

Every now and then, I overthink myself with questions and random thoughts.. Hoping these thoughts would make me fall asleep.. But no, it had woken me up for the past few hours with not even a single blink... though i did blink a few times.

I yawned tirelessly.

'If what the protagonist said was true, it means that i'll be training with the system for two months...right!?'
I thought.

I don't why, but i have been repeating a similar question or thought of what kwan jihu said before he left.

Though...
To be honest, that last chapter was BO-RING!
