THIRTEEN

Sara's POV

Myself and Jack caught up with one another talking about our college applications, our friends, our ex's- all of the things we'd missed out on when not being in class together. He really was a gentleman. Plus, Ryan and Emily were now making out. I watched as he pressed against a nearby tree, making love to her body with his hands. 

"Mission accomplished!", I cheered as Jack clapped,

"We are amazing!", he announced standing on the log, I giggled at his silly outburst trying to ignore Jacob and Maddy who were holding hands and approaching us. Noticing, Jack took a seat next to me again resting his arm on my shoulder,

"Sara?", Maddy approached me shyly rubbing the sides of her arms, I rose an eyebrow,

"For what I said earlier- I'm so sorry. I got protective and I j- It was low of me and very cruel. I didn't mean it. I think Tyler is a fool, and I can't imagine being in your shoes", she apologised sincerely as Jacob rubbed her back glaring down his nose at me,

"Don't worry about it Maddy, honestly. Me and Jacob have never gotten a long and we never will get a long- I'm just sorry it struck a nerve. I'll be staying far away from him", I responded confidently as his brows furrowed and his jawline clenched. 

Why did he have to be so goddamn attractive.

"Thankyou for being so understanding, I'll see you around", she smiled lightly before spinning on her heal. Glancing at me once more, Jacob followed.

"What was that about?", Jack queried glaring at the couple as they walked away,

"To put it simply, me and Jacob do not get a long at all and we tend to get a little heated in our discussions sometimes. That little ray of sunshine is Maddy, his soon to be girlfriend. Me and him got into an argument and she flipped on me. She was apologising for making a comment earlier about me and Tyler", I explained watching her pull him into a kiss in the distance,

"And you're sure you don't get a long?", he rose an eyebrow as I looked at him confusedly,

"Oh Sara- he was eye fucking you the whole time. That's not hate, it's raging sexual tension", he chuckled as I attempted to deny his accusation,

"I can promise you now it's not Jack.", I shook my head with a disgusted look on my face,

"Whatever you say pretty", he shrugged taking a sip of his beer. The issue with Jack is that he could read me like a book- I could never get away with any bullshit when he was around and that's probably why I like him so much. 

I watched him glance at Lucy who was looking in our direction, as was Tyler.

"Should we give them a show?", I winked as he smirked at my idea. Lifting my waist gently, he sat me on his lap so that I was now straddling him. Bringing his hand to the right of my face, he leaned forwards pressing his lips to mine.

Jack was an amazing kisser- he massaged my lips with his own as his other hand grasped onto my waist. A bulge dug into my core making me gasp slightly- he was turning me on. Nestling my face into the crook of his neck, he sucked in panting at the sensation of my lips caressing his skin.

"Fuck", he whispered throwing his head back and pressing my hips further into him,

"You need to stop", he mumbled in my ear,

"Why", I lifted my face so that our lips were millimetres apart again, 

"Because if you don't I'm not going to be able to", he confessed tilting his head back slightly,

"Erm, what the fuck is going on here?", A high pitched voice erupted behind making us both jump. Turning my head, Lucy stood with her arms crossed,

"Huh?", Jack scoffed as her eyes narrowed,

"Do you think it's okay to just get off with a new girl in front of me right after we split up?", she whined as Jack chuckled,

"Are you joking? 1. We broke up 3 months ago 2. You literally have a boyfriend- you were fine kissing him? So why is it one rule for me and another for you?", he defended himself as I slipped off his lap. She stuttered, shifting uncomfortably in her position,

"It's just not right!", she exclaimed,

"I'll back her with that", Tyler emerged from behind us moving so that he was facing us both. I cackled,

"You're hilarious. You cheated on me? And she's literally here tonight you were all over her a second ago!", I gasped glancing at Jack who was also shaking his head in amusement,

"It's one thing being in a relationship! It's another throwing yourself at people", Tyler exclaimed motioning with his hand,

"Jack, I'm going to suggest that we leave now- these cretins aren't worth our time", I grabbed his shoulder as he rolled his tongue on the side of his cheek,

"And for the record Tyler, what and who I do is none of your fucking business anymore. I wonder if your significant others would like to know how you two are acting around your EX-partners", I emphasised the ex as I stood up,

"You're both embarrassing", Jack spat before we walked towards Andrea and Luis who were cuddling on another bench,

"Jesus christ", Jack scoffed as I chuckled at the absurdity of the previous events,

"People are arse-holes", I nodded my head still holding onto his hand. As we approached Andrea and Luis, we caught them up and what happened with Maddy, Tyler and Lucy. Both sat with mouths dropped,

"So you two have had quite the night then!", Andrea exclaimed as Luis sniggered,

"I hate people man", Jack slapped his hand to his forehead. A vibration in my pocket made me pull my phone out of my pocket,

UNKNOWN: Meet me by the fishing shed - J

Furrowing my brows, I was confused. Had Jack sent it and I hadn't realised? Did he want to make it un-obvious that we were about to fuck? Excusing myself, I assumed that he would follow me after a few minutes. I made my way through the bodies until the little wooden shed came into view with its blacked out windows and tired "Bait Shack" bright red logo. It was quite out of the way, and no one else was seen anywhere near it.

A shadow emerged from behind it- 

'how had Jack gotten here so quickly?' I thought but continued to walk onwards. As I got closer and closer, I realised that it wasn't Jack.

It was Jacob.

Do you guys think Maddy was being genuine with her apology? I know that Jacob didn't like it when Sara said she'd be staying away from him🤣
