Hinami Senju: Tales of a Hybrid Ninja

chap 9: Team Training

"Sasuke, Naruto, Hinami, the Chunin exams are coming up. I want to recommend you three for it." Kakashi said, his white hair up above his head, wearing his headband diagonally over his face, hiding his scar and his left eye, wearing a blue mask on his face hiding his mouth and nose. Wearing a blue ninja outfit with blue sandals and gloves on his hands. to the group on the training grounds, his black eye looking towards Sasuke, Naruto, and Hinami each of whom placed their hands under their chins looking towards eachother. Thinking something over,

"Let's go through some more training to prepare, is there anything you can tell us about the exams, sensei?" Hinami asked her black hair in a plait braid with one lilac strand and one yellow strand intertwined with her own. wearing a lilac purple sleeveless top with a black skirt, paired with a tan cropped jacket overtop, with the hyuga symbol on the arms, with the Senju symbol on the back in black. Wearing a shuriken holster on her right thigh with a kunai pouch on her back, wearing sleeveless black gloves on her hands with arm guards underneath her jacket. Her scar which sat on the left side of her face, just outside of her eye, she came close to loosing the appendage, but was lucky. Kakashi hummed a moment, looking towards the team, 'A hint, huh?' he thought,

"Lets see... Try not to die." He said, a finger on his chin a moment,

"That's supposed to be encouraging?!" The four genin said in return, looking at their sensei who shrugged a moment,

"Let's train for anything. The chunin exams will probably have a written portion. So.." Sasuke said his hair spiked behind his head as he wore a blue short-sleeve shirt with tan shorts, his shuriken holster on his right thigh, with his blue headband tied around his forehead. Wearing tan arm warmers on his forearms, and blue sandals on his feet.

"Awww! A written test! You think so! Oh man!" Naruto said in return, his blonde hair sitting around his head falling around the metal of his headband. Wearing a blue-orange ninja outfit with his shuriken holster on his right thigh. and Sasuke and Hinami sighed looking over towards him,

"We can all revise ninja history and law together. If it makes you feel better, there's definitely fighting involved afterwards." Hinami said in return looking over towards Naruto who began hanging off of her, looking at her with tears in his eyes,

"You mean it?" he said in return, and Hinami laughed

"Yeah, but we should stay sharp, lets train in physical abilities now, an all out spar free for all." Sasuke said in return and the two others nodded, 'Well then... There's just one thing they're forgetting.' Kakashi thought looking towards the genin

"This all sounds great, but are you forgetting something?" He asked looking towards the team, who hummed towards him in confusion, before Kakashi held up the three applications,

"Don't forget you've got to fill these out and submit them." He said and the team looked towards him with a grin,

"Right." They said thanking him for the applications, placing them carefully in a pocket of their ninja outfits, well... Sasuke and Hinami did, Naruto shoved it into his back pocket.

"Thanks sensei." Naruto said and Kakashi nodded in return, before the three jumped apart, ready to begin their first part of their training. Physical endurance.

"You four are working hard, training for the exams?" Nawaki asked as he walked up, his brown hair was in a fluffy ponytail behind his head, he wore a dark green longsleeve shirt with black pants, his shuriken holster on his right thigh with his kunai pouch on his back waist, his headband tied around his forehead with a light blue poncho resting on his shoulders with the Senju clan symbol on the front in black. Each of the kids had marks from training and were panting from the work they were putting in. Hinami looked over, as he walked over,
