The next morning, Harry wakes up later than usual. He figures it's because he had a lot on his mind last night. Thinking about problematic things is very stressful. He gets up and goes about his morning routine, before he stalks into the kitchen. Harry gets out some toast, eggs, and milk, planning on making French toast.

As he finishes up the last piece of French toast, he hears the toilet flush and the pitter patter of Louis' feet on the floor. Louis comes into view a few moments later.

"Morning, I made French toast. I know you like sweet things." He puts a serving of toast on a plate and hands them to Louis. Louis takes them and sits at the table. He sits and waits for Harry to fetch him some milk, before he digs into his food. "I was thinking we could go out today and buy you some clothes. I thought it might be nice for you to get out of the clothes you're wearing." He says. Louis looks up at Harry innocently.

"Something wrong with Louis' clothes?" He asks. Louis doesn't understand what Harry finds wrong in his slightly worn down clothes.

"Oh no nothing's wrong, they look great on you," Louis blushes. "But you can't always wear the same clothes." He explains. Louis nods and he keeps eating. Harry really needs to makes sure he doesn't make Louis feel bad. He wants to stay on the hybrid's good side.

An hour later finds Louis and Harry at the mall. Harry has been trying to find clothes for Louis for the past twenty minutes, but Louis keeps rejecting all the clothes he picks. Louis is currently dressed in Harry's clothes, the shirt reaching mid-thigh and his sweat pants a bit too long. It seems like Louis doesn't mind as they make their way around the store.

"How about this." Harry asks, holding up the tenth shirt. Louis shakes his head. "Why not." Harry pouts, hoping maybe this time Louis will explain.

"Too small, Louis like shirt like Harry's." He proclaims. Harry nods in understanding. Louis likes loose clothing. He has to admit he looks incredibly cute in his clothes. Well he looks cute in general, but that's besides the point.

"Alright, let's look somewhere else then." He moves to the aisle where he normally gets his clothes. He picks out a few t-shirts, figuring he can share with Louis. He then grabs some more sweatpants – that he'll have to cut to accommodate Louis' tail- that are two sizes smaller than his own, knowing they'll be perfect for Louis. He watches as Louis inspects some clothes and looks down to his shoes. They're practically falling apart at the seam. He drags Louis along and they grab an identical pair of Vans and then Harry figures their finished.

When he turns to find Louis again, he isn't there. He only worries for a moment, suddenly noticing that he can see the small kitten boy a few feet away looking at a sweater. Harry hadn't thought about getting him a sweater, but he realizes that might be a good idea. He makes his way over to him.

"Do you want this sweater?" He asks Louis. Louis shakes his head. Louis doesn't want Harry to think he might be using him. He wants the curly headed boy to keep being nice to him.

"Oh just looking." He noticed that it was red and a size bigger than Harry would normally get, meaning it would be extra big on Louis. He would look even smaller and the sleeves would hang off, making sweater paws. He really wants to buy Louis that sweater.

"Are you sure?" Louis seems hesitant like he wants to nod, but is scared Harry won't buy it. Harry makes the decision for him. "I think it would look adorable on you, now let's go pay." They make their way to the cash register, pay, and leave the store. As they're walking, Louis catches sight of the ice cream pavilion, immediately stopping to go see. Harry is about to ask Louis if he's hungry, but sees that Louis once again left him. He really needs to teach Louis not to wander off. He spots him looking at the ice cream. Harry walks over to the cashier.

"Can I get a banana split?" The guy nods and makes quick work of making it.

"How many spoons?" The man asks.

"Two." He hands over two spoons and the ice cream. Louis finally looks away from the glass to stare at the ice cream in Harry's hand.

"What that?" He asks, entranced by the sweet treat.

"Ice cream." Harry responds and goes to sit at one of the tables. Louis follows and they sit. Harry places the ice cream on the table and Louis moves in to grab some with his fingers. He hisses when he feels the cold touch his skin. Harry chuckles. "Here, use this it should help." He hands Louis the spoon, but Louis looks more confused than ever. "Should have figured you didn't know how to use utensils. Here..." Harry scoops up a bit of ice cream on his spoon and feeds it Louis. Louis wraps his mouth around the spoon hesitantly. When the creamy texture hits his tongue he smiles at the flavor.

"More." He demands, making Harry scoop up some more and feed him. Louis smiles. They spend the rest of the afternoon sharing the banana split.
