Don't Leave Me (Quick)

"Sorry we're late, I forgot my tie." Puck muttered as he and Quinn joined everyone else in the greenroom.

"Thank god you guys are here. We need to rehearse." Artie noted.

"Yeah, let's do a full run-through." Finn decided.

Puck looked at Quinn. "You okay?"

"I'm fine." Quinn promised, putting her hand on her baby bump. "I can do this."

"I know you can, but are you sure you want to?" Puck asked. "I mean, we can tap out and get replacements or something, if you're not-"

"I said I'm fine." Quinn interrupted.

"Well, if that changes, I'm here for you."

The New Directions ran through their set a few times.

"Okay, I think we got it." Finn noted. "Let's take a ten-minute break for water."

"Five minutes." Rachel corrected Finn.

"Five minutes." Finn repeated in agreement, and the pair walked away.

"Here." Puck said, handing Quinn a water bottle and pulling over a chair. "Take a break."

"Thanks." Quinn replied, accepting both and taking a seat as she sipped the water.

Puck went to walk away, but Quinn stopped him.

"Wait, where are you going?"

"I was gonna go take a leak." Puck answered. "Do you need something?"

"No, I'm okay." Quinn said.

"I'll be right back then." Puck promised, kissing Quinn's cheek and walking away.

Quinn sipped more water and closed her eyes as she took a deep breath. When she opened her eyes, Mercedes was seated beside her.

"Hey."

"Hey." Quinn replied. "You don't have to babysit me."

"I just wanted to see if you needed anything." Mercedes noted. "Once Rachel comes back from her break, I'm sure we'll all be running it through again and again until we go on stage."

"I'm okay." Quinn said.

"Okay." Mercedes echoed. "Good because we need you out there."

Quinn smiled slightly. "Thanks, Mercedes. For everything."

"Of course." Mercedes smiled back as she hugged Quinn.

Quinn looked at Mercedes when they parted.

"You sure you don't need anything?" Mercedes offered.

"I think I'm just gonna take a bathroom break before we start again." Quinn decided as she got up. "I'll be right back."

"Okay."

Quinn left the room and headed to the bathroom. She ran into Puck in the hall.

"Hey, Q."

"Hey." Quinn said. "I'm just gonna pee before we start again."

"Okay." Puck nodded.

"Will you wait for me?" Quinn blurted.

Puck looked at her.

"It's just... I really need you." Quinn stated. "We're dance partners."

"Right." Puck nodded. "Dance partners."

Quinn nodded back.

"Go pee." Puck said. "I'll wait for you."

"Thanks." Quinn smiled.

"And take your time."

Quinn took Puck's hand as she led the way back to the greenroom.

"We're about to go on." Santana informed Quinn and Puck.

Quinn looked at Puck.

"Are you sure you wanna do this?" Puck asked Quinn.

"I have to." Quinn nodded. "Just don't leave me."

"I'll be right on that stage with you the whole time." Puck promised as he squeezed Quinn's hand.

"Alright, guys, show circle!"

Quinn joined everyone in the circle and put her hand in, but she was so nervous about the performance and zoned out of the words being spoken.

It wasn't until Puck gently nudged her that she realized it.

"You okay?"

"Yeah." Quinn nodded.

"We're gonna go line up for Faithfully." Puck told her. "Are you sure you're okay to perform?"

"Yeah."
