A/n: Something quick cause I haven't posted for like over a week!!

3rd person pov:
Y/n woke up nauseous, head pounding, and throat sore. She knew she was sick, 'goddammit, I was gonna go on a hunt today,' She thought. She made her way through the bunker to the kitchen to make some coffee, maybe it'll help with her headache.

The bunker was cold today. She felt chills up her spine. It may be because she was sick, though. "Moring y/n/n," Sam said, moving next to her to grab his own coffee cup. He was wearing a grey t-shirt and plaid pajama pants. "Morning," she replied, her voice a little hoarse. Sam looked up, his eyebrows a little tense.

He noticed how pale she looked, "Are you sick or something?" He asked concerned. She made her way to the table and sat down, enjoying the warmth radiating from her coffee cup. "Yeah, I think so... But I'm sure I can still come on the hunt," she took a sip of her coffee. Sam came and sat across from her.

"You sure? You don't have to, you know," he smiled at her, he knew how stubborn she was. "Sam, I'm fine. I can still do my job," she spat back. Y/n has always been a little feisty in the mornings, "Right, because you totally look fine enough to be hunting," Sam held back a laugh. She just gave him her bitch face.

Dean walked into the kitchen, looking tired. "Good morning," Y/n greeted him. "No, coffee first. Talk later." is all he said, y/n, and Sam exchanged a glance then rolled their eyes. Dean was also not exactly a morning person.

"Y/n you look awful, you are not coming with us tomorrow," Dean blurted, "Gee, thanks, Dean!" You retaliated. "We will talk about it in the morning. Until then, I'll rest up. I'm sure I'll be better by tomorrow!" Y/n got up (a little lightheaded) and walked towards her room without another word.

"Dude, she's not coming. She looks half-dead," Dean said, reading the newspaper about some killings a state over. "I know, I know. She's just stubborn, you know that." Sam rolled his eyes. "You know I can take care of this case myself. You can stay here and take care of her for a bit." Dean smirked, Sam glared at dean knowing what he was implying. "Yeah, maybe you're right. She might need someone to help her out." Sam responded, not giving his brother the satisfaction of knowing that he did, in fact, like her more than he led on.

"Uh huh.. Well, maybe while I'm away, you'll learn to man up Sammy!" Dean said, patting his shoulder and getting up. "Shut up," Dean heard quietly from behind him as he walked away.

Y/n woke up feeling even worse. She felt how heavy her eyes were and decided she should probably stay home.. Glancing at her phone, she was it was 9:30, the 3 of them should have already left by now if they wanted to get to their destinationin time. She quickly got up and went downstairs looking for Sam and Dean. She found Sam reading up on something boring in the library.

He looked all cute and focused. She wished he would shift all that focus on her, though. Sam Winchester was the man of her dreams, after all, even if she would never admit that to anybody.

"Hey Sammy," she smiled, and he looked up, meeting her eyes. She noticed how his face shifted from excitement to concern quickly. "Where's Dean?" She asked. "He's out on that hunt we were gonna take. You okay? You really don't look so well," He said. His voice laced with worry. Y/n smiled again, aw he did care about her. "I'm fine, just a little lightheaded is all. Why didn't you go with him?" She asked.

He stood up and walked towards her. "I thought I should stay here with you, thought I'd take care of you and all." He placed a hand on her forehead and frowned, "Y/n you're seriously burning up, get back to bed I'll bring you some food and coffee," Sam said sternly, she knew there was no fighting this. Once Sam went all caregiver on your ass there was no changing his mind.

Cuddled up in blankets, she heard her door open. Sam was carrying a teay with some toast with jam and some coffee. "This is very sweet of you." She grinned, not realizing how hungry she was until he brought her some food. "I thought we could watch a movie? Just something relaxing so you don't overwork yourself," He chuckled nervously. "Yeah, that sounds great," She took a bite of her toast.

Watching the movie on her bed, she was starting to doze off, her headache finally gone. Sam started to get up cleaning up the dishes. "Where are you going?" she missed his weight on the left side of the bed already. "Well, you looked sleepy, so I thought I'd clean up?" He asked her, confused. "I don't want you to go," The fever was talking at this point. "Let me take your temperature again. You're worrying me now," he laughed.

As Sam checked her temperature, she couldn't help but study his green eyes. They were just hypnotic, "Jeez, you're at 102 degrees." He looked up and caught her staring, quickly she looked away. "Uh, I better sleep it off then," He nodded in response.

Sam looked back at her before closing the door. He saw how sad he looked now that he was leaving. In all honesty, she loved when he took care of her. She didn't exactly get that treatment growing up, and she knew he didn't ethier. So, they took car eof eachother, she always felt so damn special when he paid such close attention to her.

"What?" he asked, a little playful smile on his lips. "I don't want you to leave," she looked up at him. Sam was a little taken aback. He wanted to take care of her but didn't want to look desperate. But she's the one who wanted him there, who wanted him to stay with her. She felt perfectly safe around Sam, even when she felt like crap y/n knows Sam will always be there. "Just stay until I fall asleep? please?" It was getting late now, Sam was tired too but decided to stay. Any excuse to be around her he would take.

Y/n pulled the blankets back, and Sam climbed in. "Thanks, Sammy," she said softly, not sure how he felt about this. "It's no problem, I love spending time with you," She couldn't help but internally scream at that, and he noticed how her eyes lit up for a second. She turned onto her side, facing the opposite way from him.

She felt hesitantly moved closer until he was pressed up against her back. His arm gently rested around her waist. "Is this okay?" Sam asked a little nervous. "Mhm," she hummed happily. She was ready to fall asleep now. She moved closer into the feeling of his strong body protecting hers. As she drifted into sleep, head wandering elsewhere. She felt the rumbled of soft snores against her back. Y/n knew this was exactly where she belonged, Sam spooning her and her feeling the safest she's ever felt. She knew she loved him.

A/n: Sorry if this is bad, I'm sick rn and a little out of it🫶
