Amelia's POV

"Amie..."

"You're okay..."

"I've got you, darling. I'm here..."

"Amie..."

"Amie..."

Amelia slowly opens her eyes and is welcomed by pure darkness. The only light in the room being the small crack underneath the door leading out to the dormitory hallway. As she begins to sit up, she feels the aching in her bones and lets out a soft groan.

She looked down and noticed that she was changed into her usual pajama shirt and shorts.

What the hell happened when she passed out?

And why was she in the dorms? Not even the Hospital Wing?

She lifted up her shirt to see that her gash was now just a reddish pink scar.

Did someone clean her up?-

"Amelia?"

The candle on the desk lights itself and she turns her head over to the sound of the voice next to her.

Anne was sitting up in her bed with relief all over her face.

"Anne...? What happened? How did I-"

"Sebastian carried you back here with Val," she lifts herself from her bed and makes her way over to Amelia's bedside, placing the back of her hand to her forehead to check her temperature.

"Sebastian?"

She nods and removes her hand, "I came back here after Ominis and I wrapped up our duelling session and I saw him and Valencia sneaking you in here under Disillusionment. He didn't want to take you to Nurse Blainey to raise suspicion since it was already past midnight at that point and nobody knew what happened. He put some Wiggenwelds and Calming Draughts on your nightstand for when you woke up," she begins to chuckle a bit, "Valencia left once you were tucked in, but Sebastian was so reluctant to leave that I had to forcibly throw him out of the room so I could sleep."

Amelia blinked.

Sebastian was there.

With Valencia.

She was so sure she had sent her Patronus for Valencia.

How did Sebastian find her as well?

Did they meet up as a mere coincidence?

Amelia pulled herself out of her thoughts and turned towards the clock. It was 6:48 AM.

Merlin.

"Sebastian told me you wanted all of us to rendezvous in the Undercroft today. When were you thinking?" Anne inquired.

Well. She was already awake.

And now all she could think about was how Harlow is now planning to seek the power of the repository that rests inside her. And he knows about her friends and her sister.

She didn't want to wait to tell them. They needed to know what was going on.

Because they also still don't know that she actually took the power instead of leaving it.

Before, she wanted that to be buried in the past, she didn't need to bring it up. She took it because she knew people like Harlow would try to come after it if it remained down in those caverns. She had done her research sixth year with Sebastian while looking for a safe way to extract Anne's curse without taking her emotions with it. If she didn't have Isidora's magic, a power where possibilities really were endless, saving Anne wouldn't have been possible.
