Amelia's POV

The embarrassment followed Amelia for days.

Sebastian had been fighting tooth and nail to figure out what her dream was that made her breathe so heavily inside the Restricted Section.

She had tried to tell him that she was simply out of breath in her dream from escaping Peeves, but his eyes told her that he wasn't so convinced of this.

After the upteenth time of him pestering her about it, he gave up. For now.

But that didn't stop the embarrassment.

She wasn't even sure how Sebastian was looking into her dreams. Legilimency is a very complicated spell that can take years of practice. She had never heard of a case where dreams could be viewed, only memories and thoughts.

Was he looking into her dreams to view what nightmares kept her up at night? Or was he looking for something else?

She wasn't upset at him for it. She was upset at herself for being reminded of having such a vivid and lewd dream with him.

And how he almost saw it.

The way he was heavily breathing into her ear, how his forehead was pressed against hers, how he was kissing and touching her skin that made her eyes roll back. It was a feeling that she hadn't experienced before. Total euphoria.

And she had it in her own dream with Sebastian. Even though she had never been intimate with anyone in her entire life. Never had any serious feelings for anyone. Hell, she hasn't got the slightest idea what being in love is like.

But she felt it was wrong.

She cared about him more than most, having gone through hell with him and made it out closer. But it seemed like lately, he had been unintentionally fanning the flame in her soul more than usual, letting the flame grow so big that she was terrified to be burned by it.

She was starting to worry that not even Aguamenti could douse it.

Especially with everything else going on, she needed to keep as clear of head as possible.

But as she sat on those rain-soaked bleachers with Ominis and the screaming and cheering students of their house watch the Slytherin versus Ravenclaw Quidditch game, she wasn't sure how clear of a head she could keep when the Slytherin team made their way out onto the field.

Because the first thing her eyes landed on was the freckled heathen himself.

The rain made his hair look even messier than usual, droplets dripping from the ends of the few loose strands that hung in front of his forehead. His Quidditch uniform was completely soaked and you can practically see every ridge of his muscles through his jersey under his robes.

Merlin, help me.

"You're awfully quiet," Ominis spoke up through the rain, holding an umbrella over both of their heads.

She turns to him and blinks a few times, "Oh, sorry."

"Is something on your mind, love?" He inquires.

Yes. "No, I'm just eager to watch the game."

"I don't believe that," he says with honesty, "but I won't press."

She bites her lip in thought as she watched the players begin to mount their brooms, "Just... Just a lot going on."

"Hey."

They both turn their heads to the left in the direction of the voice to see Valencia standing next to them with a somber expression, her arms wrapped around herself and drenched from head to toe in her Ravenclaw sweater. Some Slytherin's gave her side glances as to why she's on their side.
