Hey guys!!!! Do you like the new cover? It's Gabrielle :P

You're all too funny with your comments, makes me smile every time. I understand that you all like the wonderful Taiven, but keep in mind Tara is lonely and with a child on the way, and Danicio might be a good candidate to help out. As for Breena and Ridge, still not too sure how that is going to play out. I won't lie, I like the idea, I just don't want to become a soap opera-type relationship like our dear Taraiven couple.

ANYWAY, picture on the side of Lily Collins who plays Gabrielle, and also for your pleasure the wonderful song by the wonderful group of Simple Plan,  Save you.

BY THE WAY, this is a very heavy chapter, meaning that there's a lot of info you'll need to process, so pay attention!!!

Enjoy the chapter!!!

Chapter 6

Gabrielle

She quickly ran back home, struggling to keep her shirt stretched down to make sure that it covered her bare butt. Gabrielle was grateful that it was night time. If there would have been light outside she would have attracted a lot of attention.

Eventually, she did make it back to her home, and noticed that all of the lights in the house were on. In a hurry, she opened the front door and immediately shut it behind her before running up the stairs at top speed into the bathroom.  For a few moments she just simply stood there, her back against the closed door. She heard someone coming up the stairs, and then not long after knocking on the bathroom door.

“Gabrielle, are you okay?” She heard her mother ask on the other side, obviously worried.

No, Gabrielle immediately thought, no I’m not okay. “I’m fine.” She answered harshly, as she unglued herself from the door and went to go turn on the water taps of the bathtub.

She heard her mother knock on the door again. “Sweetie what’s wrong? Why are you home so late?” She paused for a second. “Did you and Alec get into a fight?”

“Mom I said I’m fine!” Gabrielle shouted in anger. Immediately the water that had been pouring into the bathtub suddenly started coming out even faster. It was strange.

Gabrielle waited to see if her mother was going to say anything more, when there was no noise coming from the other side of the door; Gabrielle took off the rest of her clothes and then stepped into the tub. The water was burning hot against her cold skin, but she didn’t mind.  Slowly, she sat herself down in the bathtub, and then stared down at her legs and waited. After a minute or so, she slowly saw small, pale scales appear. Almost to the eye, the scales seemed to get bigger, darker and a lot more visible. She watched in horror and fascination as her legs stuck themselves together, and her feet slowly grew into the end of the tail, changing colours and form. Gabrielle needed to hold in her scream; the transformation was painless yet terrifying to watch. The tail was an odd gold colour, with dark, strange lettering on it. Gabrielle felt like crying, and screaming. What was she supposed to do? She remembered the way it had hurt when she had been in the ocean barely an hour ago. It had been a miracle when the pain had stopped for what was probably hours later. Luckily, she’d had the idea to swim back up to the surface; otherwise she would have probably never figured out that she could change form again. She had to resist the urge to swim down; for some reason, the depths of the water kept seducing her and it was a constant fight for her to not go back into the ocean and swim down. When she had gotten out of the water earlier, she had ran back home only to end up in the position that she is now; sitting in a bathtub with an actual golden mermaid tail instead of legs and feet. She lifted it up and watched as the water gently fell off the tail and into the tub. Many questions were going through her mind at the moment. What’s going on? What’s happening to me? Why is this happening to me?! No matter how much she tried to answer them, she wasn’t able because there really was no logical explanation for this situation. Gabrielle looked at her tail, as if it would answer all of her questions. There was something incredibly dark and wicked about the colour; she liked it. With her tail still lifted out of the water, Gabrielle slowly reached out to touch the scales. It was like touching a fish; only, she was the fish.
