I UPDATED!!!!! The writing bug suddenly bit and I immediately got to work. THIS IS NOT THE FINAL CHAPTER. I think there's still three or four left until this book is over and then there's book three (the final one), but please don't pressure me I don't know when I'll suddenly get the urge to write again. Just please, feel free to continu to write things on The Brick Wall. I read your posts everyday and it encourages me, and it is because of you guys that I was able to write this chapter. So thank you all so much.

Also, every chapter I write I put a picture and a song. Now, if you read on Wattpad via your PC, the picture and the video are usually beside the story, however if you are using your phone, iPod or tablet, simply click on the page you're reading, there should be an upside down i, press on it and then you should arrive on a sort of page with the chapter/story info. There should then be a sort of icon of a photography, click on it and wait a few seconds. The video and the picture I chose for the chapter should appear along with the cover of the book.

With that being said, as song I chose Let it be by the Beatles and as picture a mermaid on a rock.

Chapter 20

Gabrielle

She hurried to open the door to her boyfriend’s house. His text message had frightened her. Come to my place quick, there’s something we need to talk about.

Of course, as soon as Auron had left her house, Gabrielle had wasted no time hurrying over to Alacreed’s place. On her way to her boyfriend’s house, she tried sending him a few messages begging him to tell her what was going on, but he wouldn’t answer any of them. So of course, she didn’t bother to knock on the door when she reached the house. Gabrielle just simply walked right in.

“Creed?!” She shouted once inside, closing the door behind her.

“In the kitchen.” His voice answered back.

Gabrielle walked quickly into the kitchen, where she was surprised to find sitting at the table Alacreed, Danicio, Ridge and Queen Tara holding a baby. They all seemed to be waiting for her.

“What’s going on?” She asked standing awkwardly in front of them. She wasn’t able to keep her eyes off of her boyfriend. What was he doing here? Surrounded by people that she barely even knew herself?

“Sit down.” Her boyfriend gently said to her.

“I’d much rather stand.” She wasted no time replying, feeling for some reason angry. “What’s going on?” She asked again. “Alacreed, why are you here?”

“He’s like us.” Ridge said, but then corrected himself. “Well, sort of. He’s half of both kinds of mer species.” He looked at Creed to make sure he’d gotten it right, Alacreed nodded.

Gabrielle continued to stare at her boyfriend, stunned. He was about to tell her something, probably to reassure her, when the queen suddenly changed the subject.

“So how did the meeting with Auron go?” Gabrielle gaze fell upon the very blond baby that was half awake in Tara’s arms. Noticing that she was staring, the queen resumed speaking. “Sorry I couldn’t be there, I was busy.”

“It went fine.” Gabrielle answered, shifting her weight. “My grandfather plans to unleash the half-breed army soon.” She saw all four people at the table exchange looks.
