Because I'm very late on updates, I decided to just publish this small point of view of Taiven. Hopefully it'll keep you guys interested until I publish the next chapter which will hopefully be much longer.

Anyone watch the Tomorrow People? If you do than you certainly must recognized John, also known as Luke Mitchell, also known as Taiven. If you don't watch this show, I really recommend it. The first episode sucked, but once you get into it, it's really good.

Anyway, enoy this small chapter and again, I'm sorry for the long wait.

Chapter 19

Taiven

“Taiven!” A familiar voice echoed through the house. “I have returned!” Adara shouted, closing the door shut behind her and walking into the living room where Taiven sat in the middle of it tied to a wooden chair.

How long had it been? Three? Four days that he’d been kept prisoner here? Deprived of food, drinks or even salt water! This was obviously all part of Auron’s plan to weaken him, to break him. But Taiven promised himself that the dark king would not succeed. Not in a million years would Taiven give up more information about the link between the Prophecy and the Lost Kingdom!

Adara strolled into the room, seeming rather happy.

“I had a lovely day!” She sat on the couch that was in front of him, crossing her legs, letting her shopping bags drop to the floor, still smiling. “I assume that you have as well?”

“What is it you want Adara? You seem rather rejoiced, has Auron has finally ordered my death?” For a moment, it was almost something Taiven wished for, but of course he immediately dismissed that thought. Help would be coming soon, that he was sure of. How long could Tara keep him waiting?

“Ah Taiven, Taiven, Taiven” She said to him smiling evilly. “Why can you not simply confess what we want to know and everything will finally be over! You certainly must have realized by now that no one is coming to save you.”

“I do not think that!” Taiven shouted trying to get up, but the ropes held him in place.

Adara sighed, got up and slowly begun walking towards him. “You are alone Taiven, as alone as anyone in this world can be.”

“Be quiet Adara.” He mumbled, struggling against the ropes.

“Why dear Taiven? You wish not to hear the truth?” She continued, slowly advancing towards him. “You are alone. And you always have been.”

“Adara, I am warning you!” He started to feel the ropes around him loosen.

“How can you live with yourself knowing that everyone you love does not love you back?” She stopped right in front of him. “But I could love you Taiven.” She said. “You and I could spend all of eternity together if you just told Auron or I the truth.”

He shook his head. “No.” He replied his voice deep, looking up towards her with anger in his eyes.

She bent down so that she and him were at the same eye level, her face inches away from his. “Then stay alone.” She straightened up and started to walk away, but by then it was already too late.

Taiven broke free of his ropes and hurried right after her and pinned her to the ground. She let out an awful high pitched scream that could have probably awakened the dead, or worse, contacted Auron. Adara tried pushing Taiven off of her, but it didn’t work. She kicked him, screamed and cried but none of that distracted Taiven. He was so furious at her that nothing could get to him, nothing. He grabbed her arms and lifted her up, she still tried fighting him but it was no use, he was much stronger than her even if he hadn’t eaten or drank in days. His newfound adrenaline was what was keeping him going. Taiven dragged Adara to the chair where he’d been sitting merely seconds ago, and sat her down with a loud thump that almost made the chair fall backwards. He then held her in place with one hand and tied her up with the other one using the broken ropes on the floor. She was so small, it was easy. He tied her up so tight that she could barely move. Her body, arms, hands, legs, feet and neck were all strapped to the chair. When she couldn’t move a muscle, he used one last piece of rope to put around her mouth.

“Who is the one alone now Adara?” Taiven whispered to his ex-fiancé’s ear, before finally hurrying out of the front door and into the streets of the town.

Not a lot of chapters left! Hopefully I'll be able to finish this story by June and have the third and final book started in September.
