ep 39"a kind of electroshock "

Jack Harrison's pov
I was in a hurry now,I could not be spotted anywhere around Gordon for 3 days straight without getting caught in the shame of being suspended . Not the ego but...Hailey what would she even think if my past pops up in between and July jeez 😒 🙄.I thought she would never come to the college now.  Since last year.  Everything was to be held for now . I had to get sick or I had to make other plans to be busy and yes my dad will definitely enquire about my account so no option alright then.  It was a bad idea to walk upto July.  The fire between them was still making me feel disgusted and the way July was trying to initiate a convo with her jokingly attacking on her name .Hailey back fired her by seeing off the fall ,her name July.  I was looking like a joker or a bartender entertaining two rich clients at a casino .they both were hitting lines like a play of poker .anyways I have been too far 😩.  Thank God the conversation was over and July left.  Time to act.

Hailey:-" I am really fond of your old friends jack"

Jack  :-" no doubt hailey"

Alex :" just friends Bruh,you sure "?

Jack:" off course  "

Emma :" well that stab was amazing Hailey "

Hailey:" yes unlike you " .

Emma :" ugh ".

Jack:"gotta go guys ,I am not feeling well since last night " .

Hailey :" you look perfectly fine Mr. "

Alex :" what happened bro "?

Emma :" seems like you ate more of the ice cream that day ".

Jack:" kind of, actually I didn't sleep properly and I was kinda dehydrated too "

Hailey:" let's grab some cold coffee from the Starbucks which is just 1 km away from our college " .

Jack :" yes let's move out " .

Emma :" what's the hurry guys ,at least let's attend the first lecture " .

Alex :" LOL even the lecturers are preparing for the upcoming events for festival " .

My phone was constantly buzzing ,I guess I would miss my coffee today .2 missed calls from my mother and 1 from dad . Those 2 missed calls didn't scare me much but that 1 did . I was ready . Sorry Hailey... 

Jack :" sorry guys I am feeling very restless and dizzy ,I must leave " .

Hailey :" are you okay "?

Jack :" I am ,bye gotta go  see you all ! "

Hailey :" Jack, means a lot " .

Alex :"  bye bruh take care "

Emma :" bye Jack " .

I drove fast and reached my home . My mother just called me to keep a check on me.which is very unusual .James was as usual passing his time on the laptop .

James Harrison :" Long time, no see " .

Jack:" same ,aren't you sleeping too much "?

James Harrison:" too many sleepless nights " .

Jack:" seems like you have got someone " .

James Harrison:" happens once in a blue moon " .

Jack:" hinting something "?

James Harrison:"no ,I was just having an convo with Emma " .

Jack :" what seriously, I just met her like minutes ago ,was she quiet because of you ,she is not the kind of one you look for ".

James Harrison:" even Hailey is not someone I would look for ,Emma isn't what about July abied "?

I was full of anger and shame when I heard him taking name of July, In our house . That was something which could always stay out of our house. It wasn't a matter of joke .

Jack:" do you think that was a joke "?

James :" relax ,just messing ".

Jack:" with yourself ,the reason you never visit Gordon "?

James :" ugh Jack learn to take jokes  easy squeezy " .

Jack:" only if you were behind the bars right "?

James :" I know you love me Jack "

Jack:" that's the only fact which makes me quiet " .

James :" I know relax ".

Jack:" not Emma, okay ?"

James  :" relax bruh we are just having fun .

I was too tired to talk to Hailey now ,I hope Emma could have kept a distance with him . He is so creepy after all.  I hope the secret of July never unfolds for the good for all,for the gordon ,for abied . I totally forgot about dad's missed call . But he didn't pick up now . I was lying on my bed . I wasn't in a mood to play songs or buzz with anyone . I was just in my zone .thoughts mee and our photograph from the culture village . I don't know why . Maybe I had nothing to do .I was just looking at it  lying my head on the pillow carrying the photograph. I didn't slept a single night then.whenever I closed my eyes from my white lining to the black tilt ,that black tilt only reminded me of that night in the village, the moon, the wedge and Hailey 's tears soaked on my shoulders which gives a kind of electroshock in my heart ,I was thinking about our favorite ice cream ,butterscotch. I was teasing her . The quotes of that woman was heard in my ears.  It was something I have never felt before .
