Tonight was the night of your highly anticipated return. You had been away from the media for almost five years, just simply not seen from or heard from. Imagine what Taylor Swift did but like for a lot longer. Your first entrance to the business was when you were young, by age fourteen everyone knew who you were thanks to the Star Wars franchise. You worked with Star Wars from 2015 with The Force Awakens to 2019 with The Rise of Skywalker, which was the last piece of work you had done up until now. Here you are at Twenty-three halfway forgotten and entering a different side of Hollywood. You turned down many offers for movies and TV shows, and you even turned down something you would have considered a dream, the role of Kate Bishop in Marvel's Hawkeye but you just couldn't do it.

A lot changed in five years, some of the people you wanted to work with were suddenly no longer big stars, and new young faces entered the business leaving people to forget about you, but that's what you wanted, wasn't it? You want to be forgotten? For a while that was the truth, you wanted to just be left alone, and if that meant being forgotten that's what you needed. But it had felt right coming back, but not for acting, you wanted to give a hand at singing.

So that's what you were doing tonight. You had written an entire album and produced it too. Your team was ecstatic to get back to it and even brought in some new people to help with the music aspect of it. They decided to do a private event just as a way to dip your foot back into it all. However, events like these tend to require a lot of fans to fill up the room but your team thought it would be easier to have fellow members of Hollywood be the guests. They sign some NDAs (like most have to do anyway) and have a good night in the privacy of your venue. It was easier apparently, the head of your team had said that if you didn't feel up to it after tonight their NDAs were signed so they were not able to speak of the purpose of the event after it happened.

Regardless of the safer route, you were still nervous. You were unsure of who was out there, what if they hated it, what if they didn't get it, what if? You know? Most likely it was all the people whom you worked with. Just a bunch of familiar faces. Worst case scenario? It was a bunch of bigwigs who just wanted to see what you looked like after having disappeared for five years. You stood in front of a large screen with a mic in your hand. It was not on and you could not be seen as the curtain was still covering the stage. You could hear the chatter of a hundred-plus people in front of you but with a nod to your manager and a deep breath, the lights dimmed and took everyone's attention.

The curtain was drawn and there you stood, seeming like a deer in headlights. Only you felt that way, you didn't look that way. Your colleagues cheered for you as you gained consciousness yet again. A smile grew on your face as you looked around, there were a lot of familiar faces and a lot of faces you'd never met but were happy to be there to support you.

"Hello everyone." You said into the microphone now that it was on. You couldn't contain your happiness but you had practiced how you were going to introduce this for weeks. "First thank you all for coming I appreciate it, especially after five years of radio silence from me. I probably look a bit different now but I hope that has worked in my favor." You chuckled a little but got right back to it. "I know that you all are very unsure of what is going on tonight but I am here in front of you to tell you, and to show you. So I'm hoping that you are all prepared for what I'm about to show you." Everyone in the crowd expected to hear you had been working on a movie or a show but when the screen turned on you stepped out of the screen's way to watch.

A headline popped up from People magazine saying, 'Y/n Y/l/n public freak out?!' the next clip was a video of you outside a club screaming at your ex. Truth be told that night they cheated on you, in front of you. After four years of unforgiving love, they threw it all away. You thought your screaming was just. However, the media didn't.
