A/N: Happy belated Hoshi Day!!

This chapter is pretty chaotic because, as I always warn you, I'm not good at writing action scenes, so my apologies in advance.

.

Well, the attackers outside definitely didn't expect that after several miserable tries of breaking through the gate of the castle, out of nowhere suddenly it opens for them and they basically fell inside with all of their weapons. They quickly stumbled back to their feet and looked around, ready to attack whatever comes in their way... however they were only faced with a hallway that had tons of furniture in it. It was quite unorganized, the most random objects could've been found everywhere they looked, but they didn't question it. There was basically no sign of anyone living here, nothing moved, everything was dark and quiet.

Gyeongsu stepped forward, the crowd of people following him inside.

'Where's that monster?!' shouted the man, his voice echoing in the large space.

The villagers all went inside, holding up their weapons in defense. One of the men grabbed a candelabra from one of the shelves. It wasn't lit up, so he got ready to light the candles to make some light. But then suddenly the candelabra's candles lit up by themselves and a shout was heard:

'ATTACK!!!' yelled out the candelabra, and the next moment chaos engulfed the room.

The lights all turned on and to the villagers' biggest surprise and horror, objects from all directions began attacking them in every possible way they could. The candelabra's candles burned the man's hand who hissed and yeeted the candelabra away. A wardrobe basically fell on top of another man, making sure he broke several bones. A feather duster attacked someone's face, making the person cough because of the dust. A coat hanger was hitting everyone it could reach with its arms. Wooden objects were flying everywhere, hitting and hurting people every possible way they could, making some of the villagers already vote for leaving and they escaped the castle.

In the chaos only the teacup spotted Gyeongsu sneak up the stairs with the magic mirror in his hand.

.

Wonwoo and Seokmin burtsed inside the castle's hall, jaws dropped for a second seeing the chaos engulfing the place.

'Holy fucking shit' said Seokmin once he managed to overcome the initial shock slightly. Wonwoo meanwhile rushed inside and Seokmin had to run after him to keep up with his pace and not to get lost and be mistaken for a fighting villager.

'Wonwoo hyung!! You came back!!' exclaimed Chan, the teacup from one of the shelves at the corner of the room. Wonwoo and Seokmin rushed up to him.

'Where's Mingyu??' yelled Wonwoo in panic.

'He is upstairs in the west wing! But hyung! Some crazy man was sneaking upstairs just earlier! He had Master Mingyu's mirror with him' said the teacup. Seokmin and Wonwoo exchanged a glance.

'It's Gyeongsu' muttered Seokmin.

'Why did they attack us?' frowned the teacup, watching the chaos of the room.

'It was my fault' said Wonwoo. 'It's all my fault! Mingyu... I have to save him! I need to tell him...' he said, then not even finishing the sentence he turned around and rushed towards the staircase. Seokmin was about to follow him, but the teacup stopped him.

'I wouldn't go if I were you. My friends here will mistake you for another villager' he said.

'But then what do I do?!' asked Seokmin.

'First of all... duck down' suggested the cup and Seokmin ducked down just in time as some item flew past where his head previously was, hitting the wall.

'Thanks, little guy' he said standing up again.

'Just call me Chan, big guy' said the teacup. Seokmin nodded.

'I'm Seokmin. So, what do we do now?' The cup looked at him with a serious expression.

'This is our castle. So, we are going to protect it.'

.

Mingyu turned around when suddenly the door of the west wing flew open. He didn't know who to expect, so he wasn't even surprised when an unfamiliar face entered. Hearing the noises from downstairs, he could tell there's a lot going on, but it seemed like even his desperate friends couldn't stop this man from coming upstairs. It was a built man, a handsome one, with weapons on his sides and a maniac look on his face. He seemed to be brave, determined, purposeful and serious... everything Mingyu wasn't.

'Well, well... the infamous beast' said the man. Mingyu gave him a tired look.

'And who are you supposed to be... sir?' he asked with a mocking tone. The man kept walking forward until he stopped on the opposite side of the table with the rose on it. Mingyu didn't miss how he reached for his knife.

'I'm going to be the one who saves our village and our lives from the terrifying beast you are!' said the man theatrically. Mingyu chuckled dryly.

'Really? You sound like some pretty boy who thinks they are better than everyone around and is doing completely unnecessary stuff to prove that he is a macho' he said. 'How did you find me?' he asked. They meanwhile began circling around the table as the man was trying to get closer to him.

Suddenly the man raised his other arm and Mingyu's eyes widened for a second seeing the mirror he gave Wonwoo. 'Is this familiar?' asked Gyeongsu amusedly. 'Wonwoo helped me. You know, the boy you've captured in here for so long that he had gone insane!' Mingyu's expression shifted slightly and it didn't go unnoticed by Gyeongsu. 'That's right, it was Wonwoo who betrayed you.'

'No' said Mingyu quietly. 'Wonwoo is not like that. He wouldn't...'

'You really believe that?' asked Gyeongsu. 'Why wouldn't he? You've kept him here for a long time, did you really think you managed to befriend him? Didn't you expect him to get help to destroy you as soon as he managed to escape? Do you think you know him? Can you really trust him?'

'You don't know him at all! You are a liar!' growled the beast painfully. Gyeongsu's eyes darkened.

'Oh, does it hurt to hear the truth now? Did you really believe that a beauty like him would ever fall for someone like you? Look at yourself! You are nothing more than a disgusting, colossal, evil, violent creature. If you'd ever believe you are worthy of anything in this earth, then-'

Mingyu couldn't listen to this anymore and he let out a loud growl, jumping forward, pushing his claws out. I'm gonna kill him, he thought. He is going to regret ever saying such things about me... and my Wonwoo.

However the man was also ready for the attack and he jumped out of Mingyu's reach, aiming his knife at the beast. He missed it at first, then he jumped forward again, making both of them fall through the glass door of the balcony. Shattering pieces of glass flew everywhere in the air and covered the balcony as the man and the beast landed on the roof of the castle.
