9-Ball: exit your AC...and input this device into a near b-

Carla: now you just wait a second...there isn't a chance in hell I'm gonna let you take over this joint. I'll hack it...if there is any power still running through here that is...

9: this facility still functions on unstable coral...there is dormant energy...

Casually, and carefully- I guided my AC through the buried factory. Avoiding the hundreds of unfinished, and damaged machines that littered the factory floor. Though as I continued on...I began to see a bit of light...

A monitor and terminal, with a cracked and static filled screen was still on

Carla: jack pot...alright 9-Ball...lemme work my magic~

I brought my AC close as I established a networked link to the terminal. Seeing as my babies, and toys are built not bought, I knew that it wouldn't have any tro-

Carla: access denied...huh...that's a first...I'll just-

I ran the system cracker again...only to be met with the same message...

Carla: wait, are you serious?...I can get through the ALLMIND database and systems without breaking a sweat, and this old junk is keeping me out?...what the hell is going on?

I opened up a new tab along my arm mounted screen. And to say that I was surprised is well...a criminal understatement...

Carla: 400 fire walls...3 rotating data caches...2 encryption Co-logs paired with 30 different binary translation sequences...huh...

To place in perspective...coding is simple...ones, and zeros with coded commands...a very 2 dimensional platform...especially when it comes to software development...but seeing this with my own eyes...somehow...I went from looking at a flat code...to a highly complex and vast 3 dimensional security platform that not only has its own base structure...but a shifting data base so that no "one" code can't gain access...

Carla: what the hell were they thinking when making this damn thing?

My eyes darted through the thousands of filed coded within the established link as I attempted to make sense of it all...but just when I was about to speak.

9-Ball: the security system...originally developed by my savior...

I raised an eyebrow to the Rouge AI

Carla: "Saviour"?

I questioned...but she didn't answer...

9-Ball: you do not possess the necessary equipment to crack the system...if you would allow me to-

Carla: fat chance...knowing you, you'll boot up the place, or worse...try and take over Rubicon...

The AI was silent for a moment...

9-Ball: humans...always making such simple things difficult...very well...I shall only use the facilities old structured data base...please follow my directions...

I sighed aloud as I glared at the small MP3 player...it's screen was still glowing red...

Carla: fine...just tell me where to head next...

9-Ball: turn 40 degrees west...and look down 20 degrees...

I guided my AC to follow her direction...only to find myself looking at a human sized entrance...The words "Experimental chamber 99"Was painted on the side...with dried blood...skeletal remains...and several large defense system's destroyed in close proximity...it seemed as if they were protecting something...or better yet...keeping something from getting out...seeing as half of the guns were faced towards the entrance...and the other half were still aimed at the mound of machine corpses...
