Clary POV

I sprint through the park as music blares through my earbuds.

Na na na na na na na na na na
Na na na na na na na na na na

I'm here to collect your hearts
It's the only reason that I sing
I don't believe a word you say but I can't stop listening
This is the story of how they met
Her picture was on the back of a pack of cigarettes
When she touched him he turned ruby red
A story that they'll never forget
Never forget

And all the boys are smoking menthols
Girls are getting back rubs
I will drift to you if you make yourself shake fast enough
My old aches become new again
My old friends become exes again

Whoa, where did the party go?
We're ending it on the phone
I'm not gonna go home alone
Whoa, where did the party go?

Na na na na na na na na na na
Na na na na na na na na na na

I know I expect too much
And not enough all at once
You know I only wanted fun then you got me all fucked up on love
Oh I hoped for your name on the Ouija Board
And your naked magic, oh dear Lord
You and me are the difference between real love and the love on TV, love on TV

And all the boys are smoking menthols
Girls are getting back rubs
I will drift to you if you make yourself shake fast enough
My old aches become new again
My old friends become exes again, yeah

Whoa, where did the party go?
We're ending it on the phone
I'm not gonna go home alone
Whoa, where did the party go?

Na na na na na na na na na na
Na na na na na na na na na na

We were the kids who screamed
"We weren't the same, " in sweaty rooms
Now we're doomed to organizing walk-in closets like tombs
Silent film stars stuck in talking cinema life
So let's fade away together one dream at a time

Na na na na na na na na na na
Na na na na na na na na na na

Whoa, where did the party go?
We're ending it on the phone
I'm not gonna go home alone
Whoa, where did the party go?

Na na na na na na na na na na
Na na na na na na na na na na
Na na na na na na na na na na
Na na na na na na na na na na

Na na na na na na na na na na
Na na na na na na na na na na
Na na na na na na na na na na

I don't know why, but Fall Out Boy has always helped me. I've downloaded all of their albums, gone to like five concerts in the past two years alone. I especially love Save Rock and Roll. In fact, the song is just starting when my phone starts ringing.

The caller ID says 'Unknown' and I raise an eyebrow. I pull my earbuds out then answer the phone. "Hello?" I ask slightly annoyed. If someone tries to sell me something I'm going to flip shit.

"Hi. Is this Clary Fray?" a female voice asks.

"Who the hell wants to know?"

I hear a laugh on the other line. "Clary, it's your mother." My blood runs cold as I hear this. My mother? My mother abandoned me six years ago. Why would she try to contact me now? "Clary?"

I try to keep a straight voice, but it just comes out shaky. "My mother abandoned me six fucking years ago and never tried to contact me. As far as I'm concerned, my mom's dead." I hear her trying to tell me to listen but I just hang up.

I turn around and start sprinting home. Why now? Why not sooner? Why not try to contact me, oh I don't know, SIX YEARS AGO! I just need to go out, get drunk, and maybe get laid. Maybe that will get my mind off it.

Ten tequila shots and three beers later, I'm wasted and dancing in Pandemonium like an idiot. Why did I come here again? I ask myself. Who the hell cares!?

I dance around some more then stumble to the bar. "Give me a scotch," I tell the bartender.

"Sure thing hot stuff," he says with a wink and I laugh. He hands me the drink with another wink. I start to down the drink and walk to the dance floor when I bump into someone.

I, being drunk, almost fall down when strong hands catch me. I look up at beautiful golden brown eyes. I feel like I've seen him before, but I can't put my finger on it. "Woah there Little Red. Don't wanna hurt yourself, do you?" the guy asks in his melodic voice.

I giggle a little. "I like it when you call me that." He smirks a little and I feel my heart jump a little.

He leans in close so his lips brush my ear, sending a shiver down my spine. In a cool voice, he whispers, "Well, Little Red, you wanna head to my place and have a little fun?"

I bite my lip and nod, looking up at him. He smirks and puts a hand on my lower back as we walk out. I look over my shoulder and see something odd, though. A boy with white blond hair and green eyes is staring at me. Weird.

I wake up completely naked laying on someone's bare chest. I press my face into it and sigh. I don't know who I hooked up with, but they smell like sun if that's even possible. I feel him shift under me and two arms wrap around me, pressing me closer. I laugh slightly as he starts kissing my neck. "Well good morning to you too."

I look at his face--and freeze. It's Jace. I slept with Jace. And I liked it. "Oh my God," We both say at the same time.

We spring apart slightly and the sheet flies off him as I try to cover up more. I blush when I see his, uh, asset. I turn around and look around for my clothes and bag.

I quickly pull my bra and underwear on and Jace starts talking. "Clary--"

I cut him off with my frantic voice. "Let's forget about it okay." I look for a sweatshirt in my bag and mutter, "Izzy's gonna kill me if she finds out."

"Clary!" Jace says as he takes a hold of my shoulders. "Look, I won't say anything. If you want to forget it, we'll forget it."

I can't help but smirk and look down slightly. "Well that will be hard if you don't cover up Jace Jr down there."

Jace smirks and replies, "Well that's gonna be hard for me too with those beauties." He slowly traces my boobs and I can't help but moan a little. At the sound of my moans he starts kissing my jaw.

I moan more but pull away. "I have to go," I say then pull on the sweatshirt and jeans I keep in my bag and leave.

How could I have sex with my best friend's brother. We may have both been drunk, but still. I mean, I liked it. And even worse...

We didn't use protection.
