Kelsey POV

I paced back and forth throughout the kitchen. I didn't do know what to do, I couldn't believe that Kyle just lied to me like that.

I heard a car lock outside, I looked towards the door and raced over to it. Looking out the side window, I can see Shelby with a bag of junk in her hand.

That's what took her so long. I thought.

Quickly opening the door before she knocked, I grabbed her arm and pulled her inside.

"What the hell" she grunts "what's wrong with you?"

"Kyle is what's wrong with me" I huffed, running a hands through my hair before folding them over my chest.

"What happened?" She knits her eyebrows.

"He was supposed to come over, but he didn't-"

"And that's why your upset?" She laughs hysterically.

"No, but he lied about why he can't come over"

"How do you know that? What's his excuse" she rolls her eyes as if I'm just overreacting.

"He said, he was watching his sister, Kylie, but he isn't."

"Okay?" She wasn't getting it.

"Good, you're being so difficult" I grab my phone from my back pocket and clicked on the yellow ghost app.

"What are you doing?" She began pulling drinks, chips and other snacks out the bag.

"Look, click on Justin's story" I handed her phone, she began watching them.

"What's this has to do with Kyle?" She frowns, as she continued watching the story.

"Just watch it," I was getting annoyed with her stupidity and delusional questions.

A couple minutes later, you could hear Kyle's name being chanted.

"That's not kyle," she gasps "it can't be"

"Oh, it is. Keep watching" I leaned against the cabinet, letting my elbows support me while my head rested in my hands.

"Did he just-oh god-that can't be-that is kyle!" She said in between different faces.

"That asshole," she sneers "I'm so sorry, you don't deserve this"

Tears began to fall, I trusted him so much and he broke it all because of a stupid party.

"How did you know, he knew Justin?"
"I didn't," I sniffled "I didn't even know, he knew Justin"

"So does that mean Justin lives in Chicago?" I nodded, Shelby pouted wiping my tears away.

"Please don't cry," she pouts "I hate seeing you cry, especially over a boy"
"I just don't understand," I cried "how can you be with someone for almost two years and through it to waste for some stupid party, was I not good enough?"

"No, baby, of course you are. He's not good enough for you, if that's the case. I'm sorry that you had to see that but Kyle's not who we thought he was" she says "now, remember what I told you, wipe them pretty eyes and let's go watch some Netflix"

I nodded, although I wasn't in the mood. Thoughts ran through my mind, did Justin post that on purpose but he couldn't have known.

Is Justin in college, I've never seen him around school. So how could Kyle have known him, I just don't understand-
