2. Michael's Secret

Three months had passed, King and I had been really good friends, we hang out all the time, go everywhere together. Yes, the bathroom as well. It was great, it felt like it was meant to be. I thank God for making me bump into him months before.

And, I think I should tell him what I do for a living, after all we've been friends for a long time and I trust him, I'm sure he'll be okay with what I do. Maybe... maybe I should wait more. But I can't stand keeping this as a secret, I need to get it out!

I grabbed my phone and scrolled down my phone's contacts for his name. I smiled when I finally found it. I texted him saying:

Me: Aye bro. You busy today?

It took him a while before replying to me.

King Awesome: Hey man. Um,nope. Not really. Why?

Me: Wanna go grab a coffee? :)

King Awesome: That's cool, I'll be there.
King Awesome: Wait, where again? haha.

Me: Starbucks xx

King Awesome: Aww, sure. See you there, pancake.

Me: Lol. Ciao man.

King Awesome: Holla!

Me: Does that not say Hello in Hawaii?

King Awesome: That's Hawaiian?

Me: I don't know, bye man.

King Awesome: Bye bye!

I shutted my phone and laid back on my chair. I better get going to Starbucks. I'm so cheesy, it's like meeting your boyfriend in a place where you first met him. I actually met him when I accidentally ran into his adorable face. But let's forget about that.

I walked outside my door and pulled out my car keys, and started the engine. I sighed and smiled as I drove off to the coffee place. I saw King's car parked in one of the parking lots. Wow. Was he already here when I texted him? Because that was fast!

I opened my car door and walked out of my car. I walked to the entrance and saw King at a table for two people. I smiled and walked to him, he almost jumped from his seat when I pat his shoulder. " Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you.", I apologised.

" It's cool, man. Just dont do that next time.", he said while smiling. I nodded my head and we sat there staring at eachother awkwardly.

" Sooo whats up?", I asked, breaking the awkwardness we were having.

" Been good. You?", He asked.

" Me too.", I said. And BAM! The awkward train comes back! I rubbed my head a looked at him. I'm ready to tell him what I am.

" Hey man. Can I tell you something?", I asked him. He raised his eyebrow and nodded. I kept quiet for a while and thought of something positive he might say after I tell him what it was.

" I'm an assassin.", I whispered to him. His jaw dropped and he smirked. He quickly covered it with a smile. A fake one. I can tell. I shouldn't had told him. Now my life's in danger.

Funny that, because I'm the one who puts every innocent people's lives in danger. I'm so funny.

" Thats amazing. I promise you, I won't tell anyone. We're best buddies!", He said and grinned. I kept my mouth sealed because I knew I should've thought of this as a bad idea.

"I have to go. See you later, Mike.", he said.

"We haven't had our coffee, yet?" He looked back at me and smiled. "Maybe some other time. I just remembered that today's my niece's birthday party. Don't worry, it's nothing about what you just told me."

We haven't even ordered a coffee. But what's the point? He's too busy telling people what I am out there. I should've waited longer, like when we were comfortable with eachother enough. He would be talking about him going outside naked and I could let it out then. But no! I was naive! I should've been more patient.

He's going to tell my friends. He's going to tell everyone. He's going to destroy me.
