The past week flew by quickly. You returned to your apartment, but both your dad and Sofia seemed uneasy about you being on your own. However, you assured them that you would be fine. You felt the need to move forward and focus on your life.

At the museum, the work continued piling up. Mr. Hansen placed a lot of administrative tasks on your desk. There was a buzz at the museum as Mr. Hansen would soon be announcing the new appointments for various positions.

You applied for the Senior Curatorship after excelling in the Korean and American Egyptian Exhibitions, helping the museum/gallery win prestigious awards thrice. However, you were unsure if these achievements would count in your favour. When Taehyung called Mr. Hansen, you knew it might work against you. You had already prepared yourself not to be disheartened when making decisions.

After two weeks, Olive returned, and your friendship resumed. You missed your best friend, but with the heavy workload at the museum, there wasn't time to dwell on personal matters.

Laura and Olive were concerned that you didn't discuss what happened in Seoul. All you disclosed was that you and Taehyung were done, and you had given up on him. His parents assured you of their support with your baby girl.

Jimin and Jungkook mentioned visiting you if they came to Europe. You buried your memories of Taehyung deep in your heart and were determined to focus on your well-being and your baby girl.

You, Laura, and Olive spent a Saturday morning shopping at the nearby Copenhagen Mall and relaxed at an upmarket coffee shop.

Olive said nervously, "I'm worried about the results. There are only two senior positions available."

Laura nodded, "I don't know why I applied for a position I likely won't get. You, Hugh, Hansel, and Cha are the top candidates."

You added, "After the incident with Taehyung’s girlfriend, Mr. Hansen wasn't very friendly with me. I could see it in his attitude. No wonder he gave me unnecessary administrative work instead of actual curator tasks. I guess I'm out."

Your heart sank when you realized that Mr. Hansen would never have chosen you in the first place. Laura and Olive had pushed you to apply due to your credibility and experience.

You knew that he would only accept you through superficial means. As the only Asian junior Curator at the museum, you had to work extra hard for the past two years to prove yourself.

You acknowledged that the race was already set, and you had to accept that you weren't even in the running because of what happened in Seoul.

Olive, with sad, azure blue eyes, said, "I think Mr. Hansen will choose that narcissist Hansel De Groot. He was such a pain in the neck in Seoul. He was all over the place, full of himself. What a know-it-all."

Laura chuckled, "Didn't he flirt with the girls there? He believes he is God's gift to women." Olive gave her a deadpan look.

You smiled quietly, lost in your thoughts and reminiscing about the email you received. You constantly thought about it, even though you had applied secretly. You would decide after the positions were announced. However, moving to Sweden would be a significant shift. You didn't know if your dad would agree due to your condition. By that time, you would be seven months pregnant.

Olive grinned, "He was flabbergasted when he met Mr. Kim's other two friends. Gosh, the three of them made Hansel feel inadequate. He met the handsome Mr. Park Jimin. When he saw the guy, Hansel forgot he was straight. He couldn't stop gushing like a stupid fanboy, asking me if it wasn't illegal in Korea for the guys to look so adorable and alluring. He was ogling Mr. Jeon's muscled arms. I felt so embarrassed, and when Mr. Kim asked me if something drastic happened to Hansel, I just told Mr. Kim behind Hansel’s back, of course, that Hansel had come out of the closet. Mr. Kim was flabbergasted." She snorted as you and Laura burst out laughing. If Hansel found out, Olive would be buried alive. Hansel took pride in his manliness.
