Chapter 25

The time at the fair went by fast. Eren took many pictures with Mikasa and Armin at the photo booth. They won many prizes together, shared many laughs, and stories.

"You guys really are fun." Eren took a bite out of his cotton candy.

"We are always fun but your never with us anymore." Mikasa took a sip from her juice.

"Yeah your right." Eren looked at his watch and saw it was 5:09.

"Looks like there's only an hour left until the fireworks begin." Armin checked his phone. "So what do you guys want to do next?"

"Well I'm just going to wonder around for a while." Eren took a few steps back.

"Your not going to watch the fireworks with us?" Armin asked.

"No, I am but I'll be back when it starts. I just want to be on my own for a while." Eren ran off. "I'll see you by the jumper!" He was gone.

"Your leaving already?" Levi asked as he took a sip from his coffee.

"Yeah sorry." Petra made sure she had everything. "But I had fun today, just the two of us." Petra leaned in trying to place a kiss on Levi.

Levi pushed her away. "Um sorry but I don't like you that way."

"Oh, I thought you did." Petra looked away feeling embarrassed. "Sorry, I should go now." She looked both sides and crossed the road, making her way back home.

"Good." Levi sighed in relief. "Shes finally gone." The lights of the fair suddenly turned on and people started closing up their booths. "I need to go find Eren before the fireworks start." Levi walked down the street and started looking around for any sight of Eren. "He better be alone."

'Mikasa told me he needs to find me but I doubt he'll look for me.' Eren walked down the street alone with his hood over his head. 'I don't think he'll look for me since I told him I hate him. He's probably mad at me too.'

"Excuse me?" Eren felt a tap on his shoulder. "Have you seen a brat taller than me with a blond kid and sister?"

Eren turned around to see Levi standing in front of him. 'He really did come looking for me.'

"I don't have all night so have you seen the brat or-Eren?" Levi pulled down the hood to see Eren's light green eyes.

'Crap I wanna cry. Crap I wanna cry.' Eren kept saying in his head. "Hi Levi. I didn't think I would see you here."

"Dont be stupid. I saw you run by me earlier and I knew I had to chase after you." Levi smiled softly. "Listen, about what I said yesterday," He sighed. "I shouldn't have joked about what you were dealing with. I'm new to this stuff since I really haven't helped my students like that. You can hate me forever and I will understand. I only want you to know that I like you more then a student."

'Dont cry. Don't cry.' Eren felt his heart beating fast and hugged Levi. "I don't hate you Levi, I was just so hurt by your words and I.." A few tears ran down his cheeks. "I want you Levi!"

Levi pulled away slightly and looked at Eren, brushing the tears off his face. "I want you too but that doesn't mean you have to cry. I'm here and your here, that's all that matters now."

Eren sniffled. "Y-your right. I'm really happy to see you."

Levi held to Eren's cheeks and kissed him softly. "Come, I want to sit on a roof so we can see the fireworks."

"Levi, wait." Eren didn't move. "I have to go tell Armin something first."

"Then why are you standing here?" Levi gave him a small smile.

Eren nodded and went running back to the jumper.

'Once this is done, I can finally be with Levi.'
