Grave Danger

Ooh, this is a doozy. Hope it's good. (Spoiler alert: you guys are not gonna like what happens.)

The seemingly endless sea all around them fit it's name, the Endless Sea.

The darkness stretched out all around the team, but thankfully R.E.X. navigated nicely even under water, moving swiftly without endangering the ninja's lives.

"We're almost to the Tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master." Zane said, keeping his eyes on the built in map of R.E.X., while the others kept watching their surroundings.

"Yeah. Can't believe we're almost there after all we've been through." Cole let out, (y/n) nodding along with him.

"I can't believe I'm underwater." Kai meanwhile shuddered, looking around anxiously.

"You? What about me? Just how thick is this glass?" Cole questioned nervously, tapping the glass on R.E.X. gently a couple of times.

Just then a screen in front of Jay changed to an audio message from the three that were above the sea, Wu, Misako and Nya.

"We're heading to your location now. With Morro already ahead of you and able to foresee the traps protecting the tomb with the Sword of Sanctuary, it's going to be up to you four to find the Realm Crystal before he does."

"Hehe, Cole's a Ghost, Kai can't swim, we have no magical sword or Elemental Powers and Morro's probably already ahead of us." Jay laughed nervously, "What could go wrong?"

Before Zane could list out all the possible things that could go wrong, Misako spoke up through the intercom, "I may not know the three tests you're about to face, but I discovered a riddle that makes reference to it that may help: 'A Spinjitzu Master can. A Spinjitzu Master cannot. To move forward, don't look ahead, to find his resting spot.'"

"Huh. That's food for thought." Cole shrugged.

(y/n) chimed in too, "We'll understand it when we see the tests."

But while they were concentrated on talking to Misako, Jay glanced behind them, seeing a fish... No, a beast much, much, much bigger than a fish following behind them.

Jay let out a comically audible gulp. "Speaking of food, we're about to be some!"

The others all whipped around, eyes widening as they saw what Jay was refferring to.

"We have to go faster. Much faster!" Kai quickly started pressing buttons on R.E.X., trying to find something to save them.

But at the same time the sea monster reached them and butted it's head against R.E.X., a crack forming in the glass. "Why did the tomb have to be underwater?!"

While Kai was starting to panic, hands shaking, (y/n) placed a hand on his shoulder, "Don't think about that." He adviced Kai, before he called to Cole.

"Cole, take the wheel." (y/n) exclaimed as he lifted Kai from the pilots seat, letting Cole sit down instead.

"Hold on!" Cole, though still afraid this might be his first and last underwater adventure ever, managed to stay calm enough to avoid more of the sea monster's attacks.

"Ugh! What kind of weapons is this thing equipped with?" Jay meanwhile tried to find something to counterattack with from R.E.X.'s arsenal, but couldn't find anything.

But that's when Zane chimed in, pointing towards a rock structure closer to the sea bottom. "We don't need weapons. Aim for that rock!"

"On it." Cole said and steered downwards, the sea monster right behind them. Though it looked dangerous, there was a hole big enough for R.E.X. to pass through, but it was way too small for the sea monster.
