If there's something I learned the hard way this year, it's just how crazy the corporate world is. I know that you need to get along with your peers and I swear wala naman akong problema doon. As a matter of fact, lahat ng mga napuntahan ko na kateam kasundo ko except of course that one team.

It is just that I don't fuck with everyone. Let us be civil and all pero nadradrain ako sa mga plastikan, promise. Work is work. Personal life is personal pero bakit kaya yung iba di naseseparate 'yan?

Do you know what I should have done from the beginning with all the NTE's I have? Question it. Oo, I swear to God. I should have asked if they are also providing the NTE to other advisors. This again... there are team leads na sabihin na lang natin na may favoritism. Hindi yun mawawala, I know. There's nothing that makes me roll my eyes and raise one of my eyebrows when someone says they are just following the rules, but then the rules only apply to you and not everyone. This is the issue here. If you say you are someone who follows the book, make sure that the book you follow is for all your agents, not just for selective agents na against sa'yo.

If us agents should know and have the guts to question it. I swear talaga. I should have known better from the start. There are just people who wants to get you. Although, of course, minsan lapses ko rin naman.

And the issue here is that some team leads does not realize that there are just some people who are so good in pretending to your face na agree sila sa'yo only to realize na yun pala ang grabe magsalita against sayo. Lol. Tapos pinagbibintangan mo yung harap-harapan pinapakita sa'yo na ayaw nila sa'yo but if you only know.

That's the issue here na nakikita ko talaga. Napag-iinitan kasi yung mga taong harap-harapan na pinapakita na kontra sila, pero ni hindi man lang inisip na yung mga taong nakangiti sa harapan mo ay yun yung mas maraming sinasabi sa'yo. Still, plastikan. Lol. Funny. Ewan ko ba kung bakit 'di ko kaya. Well, kaya kong maging civil for professionalism if kailangan talaga natin magtrabaho, but not that close shit I do with others. You do your job, I do mine. Then cool. No need to do extravagant things. If you're looking for someone who would like to lick your ass, it's not me. I don't lick someone ass so that I can get to where I am. I'll pave this, by proving my integrity and myself hindi dahil sa may koneksyon ako but because I am being trusted by the people around me.

Of course, as a tenured agents may mga ego naman kasi lahat, pero ako lang ba na kapag dapat kang respetuhin rerespetuhin kita pero kapag hindi, 'di naman kita babastusin pero civil lang muna until I can see you are worthy to be followed and respected?

Example ko is yung babae kong TL before I have this TL. Si Z, I respect her in a sense na ang galing niya magformulate ng action plan. She's the best. Palagi ko 'yang sinasabi sa iba. She's quick witted and all and the way she handles the team, ewan ko, bilib na bilib ako sa kaniya. She's very intelligent sa totoo lang, but of course, ewan ko, may problema yata siya sa akin minsan eh, pero oks lang, problema niya na yun. Lol.

Sa dami ng TL na napuntahan ko siguro, or maybe it is just specific to me, I really learned a lot if people will show me and not tell. It is also like writing. You will show to your readers the scenario and not tell. The issue here is that nakakaligtaan kasi ng ibang TL na ipakita kung paano gawin amg isang bagay. Example, like an action plan that was said na gawin mo, pero 'di naman pinakita kung paano gawin or 'di ka tinuruan kung paano gawin. As an advisor you would know that is the action plan. Alam mong kailangan mo yun gawin, pero paano mo yun gagawin kung walang example na ipinakita sa'yo?  Paano ka matututo kung wala kang example na makikita? That's the advantage of my previous TL na gustong-gusto ko at ibinibida ko sa iba. She's showing, not telling us what to do and I like that approach so much. She's also flexible.
