Both of them were silent inside the car as they passed Midtown. Amanda was looking at the road-well, trying to look at the road, but the gazes that Henry was giving her was making her conscious of herself.

They were both exchanging glances like playing a catch-me game. The moment Amanda looked at him, he tried to look away, pretending to look at the rear mirrors. This has been going on for a long time and Amanda just couldn't take it anymore.

"What?" Amanda growled, making Henry flinched.

"What? Henry returned her question, trying to act innocent.

"What?"

"What?"

She exhaled deeply, keeping her composure before she could set the car on fire. "Stop looking at me."

Henry scoffed. "You're the one who has been looking at me."

"Because you were looking at me."

"Because you were looking at me."Henry said, grinning at Amanda. She returned a glare at him.

"You're really enjoying this, aren't you?"

"You just amuse me, that's all." He said, looking at her before he looked at the road, smiling. Amanda hissed at him just when her phone rang. She searched for her phone in her bag and when she saw the name of the caller, her eyes widen.

"Are you not going to pick that up?"

"Nope. Nope. It's not someone important."

"It seems to me it is."He said, looking concerned much to Amanda's puzzlement.

Slowly opening her bag, she took the phone out, placed it near her ear, closing her eyes-as if she was about to fall to an abyss. "Mom." Amanda said, in a hush voice. Henry, remembering the conversation with Amanda and her mother, tried not to laugh.

"Are you heading to Philadelphia, dear?" Caroline asked.

"Yes."

"Good. You will also stay at your sister's house, okay? It'll be a tiring trip. I'll be staying there so I can make a nice stew for my you and for Emma's family."

"What? N-no. I...uh...would just go home." No. No. I don't want to stay with her.

"No, you'll stay with us for the night."

"Mom!" Amanda said, trying not to shout.

She ignored Amanda's whining. "Where are you anyway?"

"I'm still at Midtown."

"You should have took the plane or the train."

"I was about to but the cab's tire got flat."

"Oh. So, you taken a bus."

"I didn't."

"You took a cab?"

"No. I didn't."

"Then, how?"

Amanda looked at Henry as he was changing his gear with his other hand and the other on the wheel. He looked at her and flicked his eyebrow, grinning. She rolled her eyes as she answered. "I had a ride with a friend."

"Friend? Gorgy and Gillian doesn't have cars." Caroline paused for a moment before she gave a gasp. "It's that guy, right? Tell me it's that guy!"

"N-n-no."

"What was his name again? He-Herald? Hen-Henry? Henry! Right! Henry!"

Amanda softly smacked her forehead with her free hand.
