AKB0048: New Stage

Episode 23 - The new single and the new arrival?

~ Noa's Pov ~

"Here's the new Senbatsu single!" Matsumoto-sensei showed us on the large projector.

It was a really old music video of the original Akb48 doing the song. All of them where wearing dark make up with school uniforms that revealed some skin. It looked like a dark concept. The song had a catchy and upbeat rhythm. But the dance looked fast and difficult.

"This song is called UZA!!!" Matsumoto-sensei said when the video was finished.

"Uza?" everybody was confused.

"We never used this akb48 song before because some of the past members couldn't handle the difficulty. But the staff and I felt that you guys can handle it!" he said.

"ALRIGHT I'M SO PUMPED TO DO THIS SONG!!!!!" Yuko excitingly said.

The majority of the group were excited as well.

"U-UH I DON'T THINK I CAN DO THIS!!!" I said.

"Don't be negative Noa! You're going to be great!" Mariko said to me.

"Yeah, you'll do great!" Tomiko smiled at me.

"Everyone..." I started the sob.

"THANK YOU FOR BELIEVING IN ME!!!!" I said.

They all giggled.

"Now here's how it's going to go down." Hana-sensei was teaching the first part of the song.

"Ok now you try, we'll do it slowly." we started.

"1,2,3,4,5,6,78-"

"WAHHH!!!!" I fell.

"Noa are you alright?" Hana-senses asked me.

"Yeah, I just slipped." I got up.

"Don't worry this is only the first lesson you'll get used to it soon!" Hana-sensei said.

"Now let's do it again!" Hana-sensei said.

We started again.

>2 hours later >

"Ok everyone let's take a 40 minute intermission!" Hana-sensei said.

"Wow! Acchan you're amazing!" Mariko said.

"Perfect as always!" Takamina said with a thumbs up.

"Thank you!" she smiled.

I was on the floor painting for my life.

"Noa...are you alright?" Tomochin had an anime sweat drop appeared on her head.

"Y-yeah..." I said.

"It's okay you'll get a hang of it eventually." Yukrin said.

"If it makes ya feel any better I struggled with the dance a bit." Mayuyu said.

"Thanks Mayuyu." I said.

"C'mon everyone we're going to do get lunch." Takamina said.

Everybody left and it was only Acchan and I remaining in the practice room.
It was awkward...

"G-Good job Acchan! You're really amazing." I nervously said.

"Thanks..." she said.

I was about to open the door.

"If you can't handle being in Senbatsu, might as well drop out Akb0048." Acchan said.

I was shocked of what she said. Tears starting falling from the eyes. I ran out of the practice room. Without noticing Yuko was standing on the opposite side of where I went.
