In that moment, Erich and Emily, fresh from their own trials, burst into the chamber. "Gertrude!" Emily cried, their eyes locking in a moment of shared understanding. She could see the strength building within her.

"Stay away from her!" Erich shouted, the antidote glimmering in his grip; it was proof of hope amidst despair.

As Gertrude's transformed energy pulsed, she caught sight of the spear still protruding from her chest. With a burst fueled by the adrenaline of battle and the bellow of vengeance, she yanked it free, throwing it at Techno with such force that it embedded harmlessly in the walls behind him.

"Enough games!" Gertrude bellowed, her newfound strength shimmering through her. Energy swirled around her, illuminating the laboratory and striking fear in the heart of her captors.

Emily stepped forward, antidote poised. "We're here to help, Gertrude!"

Time slowed as Gertrude's eyes flicked between the hopes she held and the enemies before her. With one decisive motion, she accepted the antidote from Emily, injecting it deep into her arm, while Erich did the same.

The world around them erupted into chaos as the combined power of their unity and shared purpose ignited just as the darkness threatened to snuff them out. With a surge, they charged together at Techno, ready to reclaim their future and protect the ones they loved.

The air was thick with the metallic scent of blood and betrayal. Techno, knees trembling, propped himself against a twisted tree as he took in the chaotic scene around him. Just moments before, he had aimed his weapon at Gertrude, the woman he once trusted. But now, his heart raced as he struggled with conflicting emotions—rage, remorse, and relief—seeing Warden stagger backward, clutching his wound.

"I couldn't believe you still can't believe," Techno muttered, frustration bubbling inside him. "And I waste no more time but to kill you, after what you've done with Anestesia!" His finger twitched on the trigger, but before he could pull it, Gertrude moved in a blur, snatching the gun and firing multiple rounds at Warden.

The sound of the shots echoed through the trees—a sinister reminder of their fractured alliance. As Warden crumpled, Techno's heart sank. He rushed at Gertrude, but she was faster, aiming at him. A sharp pain flared through his left leg as her bullet found its mark, and Techno dropped to the ground, agony rippling through him.

"I have no choice but to do this," Gertrude spat, fingernails stained with their blood. "Now if you keep killing me, I will make sure all your children die and I will kill Caligula immediately, then Anestesia and then Warden!"

"Your threats mean nothing!" Techno gritted his teeth. "You will see that you will suffer!"

"Sorry, father," Gertrude replied, voice cold as steel. "If you want me to punish you, then I feel sorry about that."

In a moment of desperation, Techno lunged at her, shoving her against an ancient oak, the wood splintering beneath their struggle. He felt the power surge within him, his hands tightening around her throat. But she lashed out, biting into his arm viciously. The pain forced him to release her, and she retaliated by hurling a jagged rock that struck his head.

Stunned, Techno staggered backward. Warden, meanwhile, found a slender trunk and advanced on Gertrude, intent on getting revenge. But she twisted the trunk, using his strength against him. In the chaos, she landed a punch on Techno that sent him crashing to the ground, consciousness slipping away.

As white-hot rage settled into a bitter calm, Gertrude knelt by Warden and aimed her hands at his head. Swiftly, she rubbed her own blood into the wound, desperate to revive him. Her heart raced when she noticed his breathing returning.
