The hours were growing late, signaling that today was soon to draw to a closing end. Despite that awareness, you felt the desire to explore around the campus, not completely prepared to return to the Savanaclaw dorm yet. Perhaps a small, harmless stroll would prove beneficial in helping clear your mind and redirect your focus on something else.
With that decision settled upon, you began your idle pursuit until you reached the more secluded parts of the campus, basking it its calming tranquility, the soft rays of the sky cascading down on the vast area as the setting sun provided a gentle radiant hues of yellow, orange, and a tinge of red.
Before you could further admire the natural beauty of nature, you heard faint rustling nearby, alongside with a few unfamiliar voices muffled by the distance. You were rather conflicted on whether to keep wandering, or check on the peculiar sounds. Your feet subconsciously lead you forward, peeking your head behind a tree as a majority of your figure was cloaked by the trunk. You discerned two taller males attired in the Savanaclaw dorm uniform, with the additional animalistic features, towering over a silver-haired male in the center, who had his head low. The latter seemed oddly familiar... Upon further observation, you finally recognized the male; It was Azul, much to your bemusement!
After resuming with your eavesdropping and silent prying, you felt a knot slowly twist itself in your stomach from what you perceived. You witnessed the beastmen speak venomous and scornful words to the Octavinelle housewarden, going to the extent of belittling him without any trace of remorse. Your final provocation was when one of them took his glasses and just carelessly shoved it on the ground.
Mistreating another individual for the sake of their mere amusement? You found it difficult to tolerate such imprudent actions. Despite the fact that Azul technically manipulated your peers and other students as well, there might be a deeper root reason concerning his actions, and perhaps if you offer assistance, it might benefit you. You could gather further intel and understanding on the housewarden's true intentions and emotions.
In your eyes, this was injustice... And you did not hesitate to take action when necessary.
"Pardon me. Might I be interrupting something?" You uttered it as more of a demand than a question, making your presence felt as the spotlight befell on you upon stepping out.
The two delinquents shared brief glances with each other before one of them scoffed. "Obviously. Are you blind?" They taunted. "It's rude to pry on other people's business, you know." They barked, as if they were not doing something considered even more impudent.
"It would be my business if it concerns the balance between injustice and delivering justice. With that being said, I believe you two are doing the former, unfortunately." You asserted, slightly clinging onto thin hope that this could be deduced peacefully, albeit a part of you knew it was an unrealistic expectation.
