Leah's POV
During Math, the atmosphere between T and me was different. T was smiling more, she was looking at me more. She had to be careful though, people couldn't find out...
The students got louder again though, I think they got used to T's tougher character and so ignored it. It was sad to see my girl being so sad, she was talking to us but only I was listening. She tried getting their attention, but they weren't listening.
And so I made sure she saw I was looking at her, I was answering all her question and I wasn't going to talk to anyone except for her.
When class was over, I stayed behind again and when people started to walk out, I saw Cam in the hallway, looking for something...
When everyone was gone, T closed the door and that's when I saw Cam looking inside. She was waiting for me.
I got up and walked to T, she wanted to kiss me but I stopped her. "Hey, what's wrong?"
I turned away from the door. "Cam's outside, being a creeper and stalker again."
"She's stalking you?" T asked surprised.
I nodded. "But don't worry, she's not dangerous."
"I do worry." she said and took my hands in hers. "You're my girlfriend."
I had to smile at that, it still felt special. "I really like you, T."
She smiled. "I like you too." and she wanted to lean in again, but I stopped her.
"I'm sorry, but we really can't right now." I said and motioned to the closed door, where Cam was waiting for me... "I have to go now, I'll text you later."
T looked down, she seemed upset. Maybe because she could't kiss me...? "Alright, bye Leah."
I smiled and squeezed her hands a little. "I'll make up for it, I promise." I said and let go, took my stuff and walked to the door, where Cam was waiting. When she saw me, she immediately came to me.
"Hey, why did you had to stay behind?"
I glared at her, because of her I couldn't kiss my lovely girlfriend... "Cam, what the hell are you doing here?"
She looked at me, dumbfounded, as if I said something stupid. "I'm just waiting for you, so we could go home together."
"Go home together?"
"Yeah, like we do in the morning." she said and smiled, and now I actually felt bad for being so hard on her. That was actually really nice.
I smiled and nodded. "Alright, let's go." I said and so we started walking back home.
"Hey Leah, I have to ask," she started, making me look at her. "Why did you need to stay behind? I mean, you didn't do anything but talk to the teacher."
I sighed deep. "She just told me some things."
Cam looked at me. "Like what?"
I looked at her. "Why so curious?"
"Because I love you."
I looked away. "Cam, don't."
She stopped walking and took my hands. "But I do, Leah. I love you so much." she said and knelt in front of me.
"Cam, get up!" I said, I felt like people were watching us now.
"Please Leah, give us another chance. Please."
I could easily walk away from her, but I didn't. She's my best friend. "Cam, come on." I said and pulled her up. "Stop it, really, I don't feel the same way anymore."
She looked at me, right in the eyes. "Why not?"
"I just don't." I said and started walking again. "You're my best friend, and you can choose for yourself if that's good or not. But you won't be my girlfriend anymore."
Suddenly she wrapped her arm around my shoulders. "Maybe one day, you'll miss me, or my touch." she said and kissed my cheek.
"I won't."
"Aww, Leah, that hurts." she said and grabbed at her heart, as if she's hurt there. We arrived at her house. "Well I'll see you tomorrow morning, I guess."
I nodded. "Yep, same hour everyday."
She smiled. "Alright, I can't wait." she said, caressed my face and kissed my nose this time. "Bye love."
"Cam, I'm not - " she closed the door before I could even reply. "Your love..." I groaned and continued walking home. This is something I hate, walking down the street on my own, especially if it's getting darker... I always imagined creepy figures watching me... I know it's stupid, but the fear's to big to ignore.
I hurried home and when I was at home, I locked everything and turned on as many lights as possible. I really hated the dark, I was so afraid of it. People might laugh about that, but I can't help it.
I prepared dinner and watched tv, that's when a commercial for Valentine's day came on. My eyes widened immediately. I hurried to the calendar and saw it was Valentine's day tomorrow!

Talia's POV
I saw Leah walking away with Cam, and I sighed deep. I still felt like Cam was standing in between us, and there was nothing I could do about it. I couldn't just claim Leah in front of Cam, she'd get suspicious...
I took my stuff and walked to the teacher lounge, putting everything away and taking the papers I needed for tonight. That's when I saw Heather and Mary.
"Hey." I said with a sigh.
"Someone's happy." Heather said sarcastic. "What's wrong?"
I shrugged, it's not like I could tell them. "I'm just tired, I can't wait for the weekend." I really couldn't wait, I was tired of these long days. "I can't wait for tomorrow to be over with."
"Tomorrow's a special day, Talia." Mary said, smiling.
I looked at the both of them, wondering what was so special about it. "Why?"
Mary and Heather looked at each other, afterwards at me. "Really? You really don't know?" Mary asked to which I shook my head.
"It's Valentine's day tomorrow." Heather said and laughed a little. "Oh you better plan a good Valentine's day for your girl, Talia. It's your first Valentine together."
I buried my face in my hands and sighed deep. "I completely forgot about that."
"Yeah, we've noticed." Heather said.
We walked to the parking lot, to our cars. "Damn! What do I do now? I can't go to the stores to find something, I have to much to do."
"Maybe arrange something small but romantic. A dinner for example is also perfect." Mary said and smiled.
I looked at her. "You think that's enough?"
She nodded. "I'd be happy if my partner just thought about it. It's the thought that counts, right?"
I looked at her and smiled, Leah had said the same thing three days ago. "Yeah, you're right."
Mary smiled. "Alright, well I'll see you two tomorrow, bye." she said and got in her car and drove away.
I looked at Heather. "So what will you do now, for your girl?"
"I guess we'll just keep it simple." I said and smiled, I guess it was my turn to show my house. "I'll see you tomorrow, bye Heather."
"Bye."
