Chapter 32: April 20

Leah's POV

Weeks went by fast, like any school year.

Not much had changed. I was still together with T, happily in love. Cam was still a creep, and my friends were still enjoying that.

But now, April 20 aka my 18th birthday was coming up. I was so nervous for that, because from that point on, my relationship with T wasn't illegal anymore. I could just be with her. Of course her being a teacher and me being a student was still an illegal relationship. But I wasn't a minor anymore.

"Good morning, T." I said as I stretched in bed. This bed felt bigger than usual. I opened my eyes and looked around, T wasn't here. Where is she? "T?"

Suddenly the door opened, and in came T. "Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to Leah! Happy birthday to you!" she sang and sat down onto our bed with a tray of breakfast.

I smiled and pulled her in for a kiss, I kissed her deeply. "Thank you so much, baby." I said and started eating, and so did she.

We had breakfast in bed, together, and it was amazing! We talked and were happy, T seemed very happy today.

After breakfast, we got dressed, brushed our teeth and went downstairs. I wanted to make my lunch but saw T already had made it for me. I turned around to face her and smiled. "Oh baby, thanks!" I said and kissed her once again.

"You're welcome." she said and smiled.

We got in the car and drove to school, T parked her car at our spot and looked at me. "I can't believe you're 18 now." she said while putting a stray of hair behind my ear.

I smiled at her and kissed her hand. "Me neither." We sat there for awhile, just quietly looking at each other until I thought of something. "Uhm baby, can you pick me up at my parents' house tonight?"

She raised her eyebrows. "Why there? Did you forgot something?"

I nodded. "I'll just get it after school, so could you pick me up at my parents' house?"

She smiled. "Sure, anything for you, baby."

I smiled. "I don't want to go. I want to stay here with you."

T looked at the time. "We still have 5 minutes."

I scooted closer. "That's not enough." I said and kissed her deeply, my hands caressed her face, pulling her closer to me.

T's hands quickly found their way into my shirt, she felt me everywhere before pulling me closer. We kept making out like that for awhile actually. T was the smart one and pulled away first. She looked at the time and gasped. "We have to go, baby."

I sighed deep but nodded. "Alright, bye baby, I love you."

T smiled. "I love you too."

"Leah!" Sally said excited and hugged me. "Happy birthday, girl!"

"Yeah, happy birthday!" Kevin said excited as well.

"Happy birthday!" Kara said and they gave me a present. "It's from the 3 of us."

I looked at it and smiled. "Thanks guys, you shouldn't have to." I said and opened it. I looked at and gasped. "Nope, not going to happen!"

"Aww come on!" Kara said and took it. "Put it on!"

I sighed deep and put it on. On my head right now was a pink cake hat, it had several fake candles on it and 'happy birthday' written on top of it. "Happy now?"

They all nodded.

"Hey my love, looking great!" Cam said from behind me. She walked closer and hugged me. "Happy birthday, my love." she said and gave me a little gift. "It's not much but I hope you'll like it."

I smiled and opened it. Inside was a silver bracelet with my name written on it. I looked at her, gasping. "Cam, I can't take this."

She smiled. "Yes, you can, and you have to." she said and kissed my cheek. "I'm happy you like it."

I looked at it and afterwards to my friends, they were all surprised too. "That's beautiful, Cam!" Sally said as she inspected my bracelet from a closer point.

"You have an amazing taste in jewelry." Kara said, also taking a closer look.

Kevin stood next to Cam and they both smiled as we were all three still in awe from this beautiful bracelet.

"Girls..." Kevin said and chuckled a little, shaking his head.

Cam chuckled too and nodded. "I know right."

I looked at her. "You're a girl too."

"But not a girly girl. I'd never get so starstruck by a jewel. But I'm glad you like it." she said and smiled.

All day long I kept feeling that bracelet. Not only because it's beautiful but also because I don't want to lose it. I was so afraid it might fall of or I'd get stuck and it'd get ripped apart...

Anyway, I was home - or should I say, my parents' home. I was taking my stuff, putting it all into suitcases. I took everything. Well almost everything, mom and dad couldn't find out I wasn't here during the week.

I took my stuff from my room, like: pictures, drawings, DVD's, game console, games... Anything I wanted to have with me.

It's weird taking everything with me to T's house - our home. But today I felt like I needed to start our lives together. I wanted to move in with her, permanently. And I was going to tell her when she'll pick me up.

I hope she's okay with it though. But I don't think she's going to disagree, she loves having me around and she loves being together.

I carefully carried all the suitcases downstairs. And made sure everything was locked, because I wasn't going to show up here anymore until Saturday.

After that I sat down onto the couch and sighed deep, waiting for T to come and pick me up. I looked around, it was so quiet here. I didn't like this, I didn't like to be alone actually. I always felt like in horror movies or games, when a person is alone that's when they get killed. So I never want to be alone.

To break the silence, I turned on the tv, waiting for my lovely girlfriend to come and get me.
